1-0 - The point of the match by far: Santoro will no doubt cover heaps of ground throughout the match but possibly not so much in one point as he raced around the past line trying to get anything he could on the ball. Federer was even grinning as he back-tracked to hit his third smash in a row, so much so that he slaps it wide and Santoro does a lap of honour around his end of the court in celebration!
1-0 - Santoro is showing some spirit saving a couple of break points in the opening service game of the second set but Federer is barely breaking a sweat (not that he ever does really) and can win games seemingly entirely at his will
