  1. 4-6 - So Zheng serves for the match. Can the Chinese hold her nerve? Ivanovic saved two match points in the last round so we know she has guts. A forehand winner gives the Serb a 15-0 lead, but Zheng levels with a superb serve right on the T. Ivanovic goes long to go 30-15 down and hands Zheng match point with another error - this time wide. A great serve and Zheng knocks out the number one seed!

  2. 4-5 - More errors from Ivanovic allows Zheng to level at 15-15 and again at 30-30. But another forehand winner gives her game point and she takes it when Zheng sends a service return long.

  3. 3-5 - Zheng is just not letting up as she opens a 30-0 lead with a winning forehand. Such power for a small player! Relentless pressure on Ivanovic moves her 40-15 ahead and she takes a 5-3 lead when Ivanovic send a service return into the net. Upset on the cards here!

  4. 3-4 - Ivanovic's serve is just too hot for Zheng and she takes the game to love. The number one seed looks focused and determined but has clearly got her hands full with the mobile Chinese and is still a break down!

  5. 2-4 - Ivanovic's forehand is causing Zheng all sorts of problems, especially when she gets around the Chinese serve. But she's also making too many errors, and Zheng takes the game when the Serb sends another shot into the net!

  6. 2-3 - Ivanovic saves one break point with an ace on her second serve. Gutsy or what! But Zheng is making her work hard for every point and breaks her again when Ivanovic is wide with a backhand, which she challenges to no avail!

  7. 2-2 - Ivanovic breaks back immediately as Zheng hits backhand into the net at 30-40 down. The Serb certainly has fighting spirit.

  8. 1-2 - Oh dear! Yet another netted backhand from Ivanovic at 30-40 down hands Zheng an early break of serve, and the world number one is having a torrid time here on Court Number One.

  9. 1-1 - Zheng is peppering Ivanovic's backhand side with shots and it's working a treat so far. She holds to love.

  10. 1-0 - Ivanovic starts with a hold to 30, but she still can't iron the errors out of her game, letting Zheng off the hook at 40-15 with a weak volley.

  11. 1-6 - A forehand winner from Ivanovic brings up another break point, but again she lets it slip, this time with a forehand into the net. Zheng brings up a first set point with a cute forehand drop shot and takes the set when Ivanovic lashes a backhand into the net! That was a terrible set for the world number one. Advantage Zheng.

  12. 40-40 - Better from Ivanovic. A flat forehand half-volley to the bottom-left corner gives her a 0-30 lead, and then Zheng puts a crosscourt backhand inches wide to give Ivanovic 15-40 and two break points. She wastes both with backhands that fly beyond the baseline, thereby bringing up Deuce. A forehand that bounces of Zheng's frame and goes wide gives Ivanovic another break point, but she puts a forehand into the net to let another chance go begging.

  13. 1-5 - A terrific crosscourt forehand from Zheng gives her another break point, and she secures the double break when Ivanovic slaps a backhand into the net! Zheng will serve for the set.

  14. 40-40 - Too many unforced errors from Ivanovic, and Zheng finds herself 0-30 up. A forehand winner closes the gap to 15-30 before a long backhand from Zheng levels the game. A wild forehand from Zheng gives the top seed 40-30, but then Ivanovic nets a backhand to bring up Deuce. A brilliant forehand winner from Zheng catches Ivanovic out of position at the net, but Ivanovic saves the break point with a stylish forehand winner.

  15. 1-4 - A long, looping backhand from Ivanovic gives her opponent Advantage, and then Ivanovic puts a backhand into the tramlines to give Zheng the game and a 4-1 lead.

  16. 40-40 - Ivanovic goes 15-30 up but Zheng levels with a forehand from the net that pitches between the Serbian's feet and is unsuccessfully challenged. A miscue from Zheng then hands Ivanovic an immediate break back point, but she nets a forehand in the next point to take the game to Deuce.

  17. 1-3 - Ivanovic nets a backhand to give her opponent a 0-30 lead and then hands her three breaks points with a netted forehand. She saves one when Zheng nets a forehand, but then meekly concedes the first break with a double fault!

  18. 1-2 - Zheng's double-handed backhand looks like a potent weapon, and she holds when Ivanovic nets a forehand that hits the net cord and drops on her side of the court at 40-15 down.

  19. 1-1 - Ivanovic moves to 40-0 up, but Zheng retaliates and brings up 40-30 with an excellent backhand return winner before a wide backhand from the Chinese in the next point gives Ivanovic the game.

  20. 0-1 - Zheng opens with a comfortable hold to 15.

  21. 17:00 - Here we go! Zheng to serve.

  22. 16:57 - The players emerge on court, both in all white. It's been a grey day in SW19 and we had a lengthy rain delay earlier on, but it's dry for now.

  23. 16:50 - Hello and welcome to LIVE coverage of top women's seed Ana Ivanovic's third round match against Jie Zheng of China from Court Number One. Ivanovic survived two match points in her 6-7 7-6 10-8 second round win over France's Nathalie Dechy, while Zheng put paid to Britain's Elena Baltacha in straight sets.
