  1. - - Gonzo, as usual, went for everything. It rarely came off and Nadal was able to grind him down and close out the straight sets win.

  2. 6-4 - Double match-point for Nadal...AND GONZO FIRES LONG! It's all over!

  3. 5-4 - Gonzalez holds to love, sealing it with a zipping forehand into the corner...Nadal doesn't look too disheartened as he goes back to his chair.

  4. 5-3 - Nadal takes advantage as Gonzalez looks to have lost his way now...the Spaniard holds for a fifth straight game and is now just a game from the match...

  5. 4-3 - It looks like the puff has gone from Gonzo..a simple error at the net means Nadal gets to 0-30...before a soft double-fault hands the Spaniard three break-points...HE TAKES THE SECOND TO SEAL A FOURTH GAME IN SUCCESSION!

  6. 3-3 - Gonzalez goes for broke on a big point at 30-30, but just fails to find the outside of the line with a whipped forehand down the line...Nadal goes on to hold, and we're back level.

  7. 2-3 - BREAK! Gonzalez smashes his racquet into the court as Nadal breaks with some ease to get things back on serve in the third set...

  8. 1-3 - Nadal finally gets on the board in the third set...he looks angry with himself for allowing Gonzalez to get a sniff when he could be squeezing the life out of him.

  9. 0-3 - Gonzalez holds after a tough game; Nadal must be hoping that the Chilean's game drops a little, because he looks to have the appetitite to grit it out and hold onto this break - rather than continue to go for every shot in the book.

  10. 0-2 - A dreadful attempted drop-shot that finds the net hands Gonzo a break at the start of the third set...interesting to see how Nadal will cope with that.

  11. 0-1 - Gonzo holds his opening servive game of the third set...he'll continue to go for his shots, because there is no way he's going to out-last Nadal.

  12. 6-2 - EASY! Nadal holds to love to race to the second set...Gonzo made that too easy for him...far too many errors from the South American.

  13. 5-2 - Gonzalez frees up to race to 40-0 before a wonderful return winner from Nadal...and a backhand into the net makes it 40-30...12 unforced errors in this set already by Gonzo...and a fortunate blocked lob from Nadal means deuce...but Gonzo holds with two big first serves.

  14. 5-1 - Gonzo tries to put some pressure on Nadal by coming into the net...it works early on in the game, but not as Nadal sees what's coming...he holds to 15 again to move to within a game of the second set.

  15. 4-1 - NADAL BREAKS! A second break for the Spaniard as Gonzo flashes a huge forehand into the net post after three deuces...patience isn't Gonzo's forté.

  16. 3-1 - Nadal holds to 15...Gonzo isn't having much luck when Nadal gets a decent serve in...he doesn't seem to have much of a gameplan beyond his forehand.

  17. 2-1 - A touch of fortune as Nadal correctly reads Gonzo's smash and fires a winner, with the help of the net chord...the game goes to two deuces...and Gonzo eventually holds with a fine cross-court inside-out forehand.

  18. 2-0 - Nadal consolidates his break with a hold to 15...he is staying well clear of Gonzo's forehand whereever possible, playing almost exclusively to his backhand wing.

  19. 1-0 - Nadal earns break points immediately...AND HE TAKES THE FIRST OPPORTUNITY! Nadal steps up when he needs to, and Gonzo is hugely on the back foot now...not that he will let things dishearten him, I'm sure.

  20. 6-3 - Nadal earns two set-points when Gonzo blocks a backhand return wide...the Spaniard takes the first with a smash from mid-court.

  21. 5-3 - It's a tough hold for Gonzo, but he eventually comes through two deuces to force Nadal to serve out for the opening set...

  22. 5-2 - A fine dipping pass from Nadal when Gonzo comes to the net wins a big point at 30-30...and an ace out wide - but only after a challenge - seals the tough hold.

  23. 4-2 - In typical style, Gonzo is pulling no punches...he's going for everything...Nadal gets to deuce on the maverick's serve...AND WHEN GONZO FINDS THE NET WITH A FOREHAND, NADAL HAS BROKEN BACK!

  24. 3-2 - WOW! Gonzalez suddenly finds his range with his monster forehand, and moves to 0-40...three break-points...AND GONZALEZ DOES BREAK! Incredible game from the Chilean.

  25. 3-1 - Finally Gonzalez gets a forehand in the corner...a Nadal error means 30-0 to the Chilean...and Gonzalez holds to get on the board when a do-or-die return from Nadal flies wide.

  26. 3-0 - It's all a little too easy for Nadal at the moment...he holds to love...12 points to 1 in the opening three games...Gonzalez hasn't got started yet.

  27. 2-0 - A bad misjudgement on the baseline from Gonzalez lets Nadal get to 0-30...BOOM! and a stunning forehand winner from Nadal seals the break to love!

  28. 1-0 - Nadal holds to 15 in a bustling start to this fourth-round clash...

  29. 0-0 - OFF WE GO!

  30. - - The players are out and going through their warm-up...
