14:21 - A simple, comfortable win for the world number four who will now face either world number one Rafael Nadal or Frenchman Gael Monfils in Sunday's final
2-6 -
Murray earns himself three match points with a great passing shot ... and MURRAY WRAPS UP THE WIN with an ace down the T
2-5 - A service winner from Ancic on the first point of the game seemingly has things going Ancic's way but a double fault just three points later lets Murray right back into the game. But the Scot slaps long to let Ancic off the hook and the Croat holds. Murray, who now is limping fairly badly, will have to serve it out
1-5 - Ancic seems to be playing now with the kind of resolve that got him this far in the tournament and even sets up a break point against the Murray serve but the Scot comes up with a first serve at exactly the right time before going on to hold when Ancic hits wide and long
1-4 - Ancic doubles his out-put in this match producing a much better service game to hold to 15 with a backhand winner after moving Murray around the baseline
0-4 - Murray races through yet another service game, back to his normal self on serve. But the Scot looks troubled by his right foot or ankle and keeps flexing it. He's not limping at all so that would suggest it's not a serious injury
0-3 -
Murray is really running riot now and Ancic slaps a forehand smash into the bottom of the net from just a metre away as MURRAY BREAKS for a fourth time
0-2 - Ancic gives Murray a tougher service game but the Scot comes up with a stunning sliced backhand to save a break point before Ancic hits into the net to gift his opponent a game point before Murray slams down an ace out wide to hold
0-1 -
Ancic really isn't firing today as MURRAY BREAKS for the opening game of the second set when the Croat scoops his cross court forehand wide
1-6 -
Ancic mis-hits another forehand from the centre of the court on the baseline handing a Murray a first set point ... and MURRAY DOES TAKE THE FIRST SET in just 25 minutes when the Croat hits into the net
1-5 -
Murray whips a two-handed backhand away across court for a winner and earns himself a couple of break points in the process ... Ancic saves the first with an ace (unsuccessfully challenged by Murray on hawkeye) ... but MURRAY BREAKS AGAIN at the second attempt when Ancic shanks a cross court forehand well wide
1-4 - Murray's whacks down his third ace to hold once again although he had to recover from 0-30 down with an inside out cross court backhand volley before he could run to the hold
1-3 - Ancic finally gets himself on the scoreboard, holding to 30, when Murray slaps a backhand long. Ancic thought he'd won the game on the previous point as a forehand from Murray was called long. But the Scot challenged and hawkeye showed the ball to have comfortably caught the line
0-3 - A very speedy service game from Murray including a couple of aces and a couple of solid serves that Ancic failed to get back into the court. Very impressive serving from the Scot thus far
0-2 -
A great forehand return from Murray onto the toes of Ancic, who is rapidly following his serve into the net. The Croat is unable to deal with it and MURRAY BREAKS
0-1 - A solid opening service game from Murray as he holds to 15 with an ace
0-0 -
Murray to get the match underway ...
13:05 -
Murray and Ancic are just walking out on to the court now, leading their little mascots by the hand, and play should get underway in around about 15 minutes
13:00 - These two have met each other four times before, with Ancic leading the head-to-heads 3-1. Three of those four meetings occured last year with Murray winning the first (in the Marseille final) before Ancic re-established his dominance, winning clashes at the Miami Masters and in Barcelona
12:40 - Murray is taking on Croatian and world number 28 Mario Ancic, with the players expected on court in around about 20 minutes time

Number 10. Murray doesn't weight 8.4 grammes, he weights 84grammes, which is 3 ounces. You really should understand that 1000k is 1kg.

Gordon H( Bowden Hill). Suggest you read which comment is posted by which contributor before posting. The references you make are to the post below mine by 'Matthew S'. I know the difference between 'your' and 'you're', and there is no hint of racist comment in my post. An apology would be nice.
Well, Paul G. How seriously are we supposed to take the word of someone who doesn't know the difference between 'your' and 'you're'? Also, how do you assess the tolerance and understanding of someone like yourself, who writes off the total population of a country as being racist while living somewhere else?
Gordon H.
No wonder Muuray won : Yahoo says , he's only "o,o84 kg" , hehehe !
According to the player stats, Murray weighs in at 8.4 grammes....
Who cares where Andy is from!! I like the way he plays, agressive, determined, confident. I dont support Scotland or England when watching tennis....I support the player!!
I am English but I have lived abroad for many years....and support a football team in that country (not the country!!) Your all a bunch of racists.
I wish i weighed as little as Murray!!!
looks like mr Murray is finding some confidence and form in this one,
