0-6 -
MURRAY TAKES THE TITLE with an ace out wide ... Nadal didn't even move for that one.
30-40 - A few signs of resistance from Nadal as he pushes Murray to 30-30 but the Spaniard has nothing left and a forehand into the net quickly hands Murray three match points ...
0-5 -
Murray breaks again when Nadal hits long and the Scot will serve for a bagel set to finish the match
0-4 - Back-to-back aces from Murray to race through another hold and cement the double break
0-3 -
A third double fault from Nadal sees him staring down the barrel of three break points ... Nadal saves the first with a backhand volley winner to grab his first point on serve of the set ... and the second goes begging for Murray when he hits long ... but MURRAY BREAKS FOR A SECOND TIME when Nadal pulls his cross court forehand wide
0-2 - Much, much better on serve from Murray as he holds with a serve out wide that Nadal can only hit into the net as he attempts to go for a forehand return down the line
0-1 -
An eighth consectutive game goes against serve as MURRAY BREAKS a very flat-looking Nadal with relative ease
4-6 -
A series of agressive ground-strokes from Nadal followed by a delicate forehand volley winner bring up three set points for the Spaniard ... and NADAL TAKES THE SECOND SET with a seventh straight break of serve, when Murray hits long
4-5 -
Nadal appears to have Murray on the ropes a little as he pushes him deep behind the baseline before dragging him back up the court with a drop shot but such is the Scot's speed he races up to the ball before putting away a predictable backhand volley to earn break point ... and MURRAY BREAKS AGAIN at the first attempt when Nadal hits wide
3-5 -
Nadal is in this game on sheer persistance alone as he BREAKS ONCE AGAIN with a forehand return of servce whipped back across court and onto the sideline. Nadal will now serve for the set
3-4 -
A fourth consecutive break of serve in this set as Nadal again struggles to find a first serve - his rate is down to just 47 per cent now. Mind you, that's higher than Murray's which is around 42 per cent
3-3 -
Nadal fires an inside out forehand across court to insert some spark back into this match, which had temporarily just got a bit flat. The shot brings up a break point for Nadal ... and THE SPANIARD BREAKS again, working Murray around the basline before putting a backhand volley just out of the Scots reach. Murray does just get his racquet to the ball but it's too far gone and his backhand dribbles back into the bottom of the net
3-2 -
Nadal does seem to be in some discomfort landing on that right leg when he serves and as a result a poor service game, including a double fault, hands MURRAY A BREAK BACK
3-1 -
Murray seems to have lost concentration at some point during that injury break as he slips to 0-40 on his serve ... the Scot does well to recover the first two break points ... but he hits a forehand into the net on the third and NADAL BREAKS!
2-1 -
Nadal has called for the trainer for some massage to his right thigh and will have a medical timeout. He looks thoroughly disheartened and exhausted - although knowing Nadal that will not stop him from giving this match everything he has right until the end
2-1 - Murray produces a scintilating forehand pass down the line at full pace and full stretch to force Nadal to deuce ... but Murray hits out on the next point and Nadal pushes the Scot out wide on the next before releasing some tension and frustration with an emphatic smash to hold
1-1 - Murray continues to cruise through his service games as he holds to open his second set account. The Scot didn't drop a point behind his first serve in the first set as Nadal seems unable to cope with it. Murray fires down his fourth ace to hold
1-0 - Nadal is really being beaten back by Murray, struggling with the Scot's pace on the forehand in particular, as he hits long again of that side. Nadal just looks tired - apparently his camp tried to persuade him not to play this week, to take more time after his exploits in Australia ... but the Spaniard was determined not to pull out and it looks as though that decision could have caught up with him today
3-6 -
MURRAY HOLDS TO LOVE TO TAKE THE FIRST SET! Pressure, what pressure? Murray produces an ace down the T to seal a love service game, and more importantly the first set
3-5 - Nadal holds to love with a service winner straight down the T to put all the pressure back on Murray. Only the one break in it, remember
2-5 - A speedy hold from Murray with no real problems leaves the world number one serving to stay in the first set after the change of ends
2-4 -
A stunning forehand down the line from Murray, than Nadal can only return into the net, helps the Scot to his first break point of the day ... and MURRAY DOES BREAK at the first attempt as Nadal pushes his forehand just long
2-3 - Murray produces an impressive second serve ace on his way to a hold to 15. This match has gone a little quiet since the opening couple of games
2-2 - Both players are still battling with their first serves and leaking a few points as a result. But Nadal is not really threatened as he holds to 30 to stick with his opponent
1-2 - Nadal earns a first break point of the match, producing a massive cross court forehand that Murray returns out ... but an attempted backhand passing shot from Nadal goes wide and Murray is let off the hook before going on to hold just two points later
1-1 - Nadal has to work really hard to hold from 0-30 down but hold he does with some class; hitting a series of winners to deny Murray the early break
0-1 - A good solid hold from Murray, to 30, to get the match underway. Nadal hits into the net on game point and Murray's serve appears to be firing pretty well already today
0-0 -
Murray to get the match underway then ...
13:02 -
BUT Murray has won 12 out of 13 matches so far this year and, a disappointing fourth round loss to Fernando Verdasco in Australia aside, has been on great form picking up a title in Doha and an exhibition win in Abu Dhabi. Murray also beat Nadal in their most recent meeting - the US Open semi-finals last year. The Scot did pick up a bit of an ankle injury in his semi-final yesterday though so it remains to be seen how he'll hold up today
13:00 -
Nadal has the superior head-to-head record leading into this clash, and he is riding high on the back of 13 wins out of 14 so far this year including winning his first hard court Grand Slam at the Australian Open earlier this month
12:54 - The players are due on court in about five minutes time for this eagerly anticipated clash
12:42 - Hello and welcome, tennis fans, to Eurosport's LIVE coverage of this Rotterdam final between world number one Rafael Nadal and world number four Andy Murray

How many points will Murrey get he is on 7360 now
Well done Andrew - You seem to have upset the English lot - just like the Spanish footballers and Windies cricketers - Oh! and the Welsh rugby players. Mind you, according to the English media, I am about to watch David Beckham single handedly teaching the Inter Milan players a thing or two.
Jose
Vamos Andy ^_^ hahaha^^ Priceless you are the One
You are the best!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Tim are you watching???
WELL DONE ANDY YOU WILL SOON GET THAT GRAND SLAM TITLE KEEP THIS FORM UP.
JAMES WHYTE
jlowe3 loud spanish scruff????? sorry .you must have your volume up REALLY loud to catch Nadal saying anything..He could of course learn some really good swear words from the Scots juvenile behaviour..
Happy Days well done Andy
BTW jlowe3 Andy is from Dunblane and it is nowhere near the border.
Well done Andy, proud of you!
I have to say I am disappointed for all the Tiger Timmy obsessed Middle Englanders who take great pride in bashing Andy, you guys must be feeling pretty low just now. Never mind all you members of the "sweaty sock" brigade, he might not win the next tournament giving you plenty ammunution to back up your xenophobic campaign against him.
Once again, well done to the man from Dunblane :D
Wouldn´t have minded ANYBODY berting him..but not arrogant Murray...Never mind...only one game..plenty more Grand Slams for Murray to lose in...
Andy Murray is magnificent! Surely he is the best tennis player in the world at the moment. What a performance.
come bak nadal
Ohh yee , Murray wins :D
Well done. We Scots are proud of you.
Well done andy, title number ten I beleive......soon be past toothless timmy
aiyohh..????
too tiriing 4 nadal?
I hate Andy Murray...
I thought Andy Murray was from Dunblane? That's not really south scotland, but never mind. He seems to be a bit arrogant and a little obnoxious but I much prefer this to the squeaky-clean, sickening, "boy next door" image of Tim 'the choker' Henman. He plays good tennis - the UK has been awful at this sport for decades and it's quite embarrassing to be honest. If you wish AM any ill-will then can you please name another UK tennis player that you would prefer to be our No. 1? Can you even name another UK tennis player? Thought not! Nuff said really...
OK....well done the winner ...but let us wait for Paris and Wimbledon....
Aww i'm so disappointed..=((=((
