  1. 6-4 - Nadal is through to the last four; the former champion is a step closer to regaining his title. We saw the best of Nadal in the opening ten games before Del Potro through caution to the wind.

  2. 5-3 - Nadal gets a challenge wrong as Del Potro fires a fine forehand crosscourt winner...and when Nadal hooks a forehand wide, the Argentine has a break!

  3. 5-2 - Del Potro manages a second hold as Nadal presses for an early finish, but it is just lip-servce, really; this match has been done a long time. Nadal is finding the corners, and Del Potro hasn't the heart to run the ball down at the moment.

  4. 4-1 - A second break for Nadal as Del Potro continues to struggle with his serve, down at 46% first serve at the moment, and 44% for his second serve. Nadal is rolling into the last four here.,..

  5. 3-1 - A long service game from Nadal as Del Potro, who looks to have recovered somewhat from his injury, finally seems to hit a bit of form from the baseline.

  6. 2-1 - More pressure on the del Potro serve as he faces break-points with Nadal sniffing around for the kill...but the lanky South American shows good heart to hold and get on the board.

  7. 2-0 - Nadal finds himself in a first spot of bother at 15-30, but sends a sliced ace out wide to get back on track...

  8. 1-0 - Ah dear: this isn't going well for Del Potro; he is broken again, this time to 30, thanks to a poor backhand into the net; there is little point in him continuing on here.

  9. 6-2 - Nadal takes the opening set when he holds with real comfort; Del Potro is a passenger here...he looks really unhappy with his arm...

  10. 5-2 - Del Potro calls for the trainer again after surrendering his serve once more; he doesn't look happy.

  11. 4-2 - Nadal carries on his merry way with another comfortable service hold; Del Potro still looks a little uncomfortable with that inury.

  12. 3-2 - A slightly worrying moment here as Del Potro receives some treatment on his right forearm having held his serve to cit Nadal's lead to 2-3.

  13. 3-1 - Nadal holds to consolidate his break; he has lost only two points on his serve so far and looks in great shape at the start of this opening set.

  14. 2-1 - Nadal holds before engaging Del Potro in the toughest of service game...the Spaniard works around his opponent before finishing with a backhand into the corner to set up break-point...and finally gets his break.

  15. 0-1 - Del Potro is twice the player he was when these two last met at Queens in 2007...he holds to 15 with a solid volley at the net to get on the board in this match.

  16. 0-0 - OKAY! HERE WE GO!

  9. Del Potro has no chance against Nadal, he is such a bad player in this game. He can't even make nadal go out for it. He might get the correction he received from Federer in the AO.
