- - Thanks for joining me this evening; make sure you stick around - we've got plenty to keep you occupied.
6-3 -
...WHICH SHE DOES, TO LOVE! Great performance from Ivanovic, who makes the final...three breaks are enough to see her through.
5-3 - ...but Ivanovic dumps a backhand into the net to waste the match-point...and her opponent goes on to hold...she'll have to serve out for the match...
5-2 - Ivanovic holds to get to within a game of the set...she then puts away a solid volley at the net to set up break-and-match-point...
4-2 - Ivanovic holds comfortably before getting a good foothold on Pavlyuchenkova's next service game...deuce...Ivanovic chases down a drop-shot, but flicks her forehand long to waste another break-point...but the Russian sucks it up and holds.
3-1 -
...and the double-fault proves costly; Ivanovic pounces, and gets the break to 15 with a fine backhand pass...the writing is on the wall now.
2-1 - Pavlyuchenkova is much more involved in this set than she was in the first...although a double-fault puts her under pressure in her second service game...Ivanovic smells blood...
1-0 - Pavlyuchenkova called for the trainer at the change of ends at the end of the first set; no treatment, or sign of an injury though as Ivanovic holds in her first service game.
6-2 - Another fantastic return winner, this time on the backhand wing, from Ivanovic sees the game to deuce as she looks to break again and take the set...which she does!
5-2 - Ivanovic has dropped just three points behind her first serve this evening; she follows her opponent's hold with a rapid one of her own to move to within a game of the set.
4-1 - Ivanovic clenches her fist as she comes through a tough hold, being taken to deuce before slamming a couple of forehand winners from the baseline.
3-1 - Pavlyuchenko gets on the board with her first service game, altough Ivanovic still looks impressive as she whips a return winner on a weak second serve.
3-0 - Ivanovic has made a rocket of a start here; she wins 12 out of the first 16 points to seal a break and two holds...
- - Hi there; the girls are out, having their final warm-up...
