  1. LegendDB you are absoluttely right gil could get the­ nerves and kept close to rafa in the beggining but when­ it matters rafa is pretty bad for other players as he­ smashes them!

  2. I am a Rafa fan... what i meant is that a victory from­ frederico would make an earthquacke in portugal... wake­ people for tennis! If you knew our reality you would­ understand!

    I like rafa and allways support him! but­ today it would be very special for me if gil have won!­ specially because to rafa it would mean almost nothing­ to loose today and a victory from gil would make so­ much good for him!
    I still think that Nadal is the­ greatest now and still live his games nervously! im not­ a fairweather friend as you say...

    This season i­ would really like to see Rafa do the GS or at least­ winning at Flushing Meadows! And gil going further than­ the 1st round in GS, enter the top 50 maybe top 30!­

    If you still are disapointed at me... im sorry but­ today a victory from frederico would have meant so much­ for portuguese tennis that i standed by him!

  3. andjustice for all shut up please! it's­ understandable that portuguese get excited bc it was­ close game, but you couldn't see Gil getting any­ stronger from the first set, people can't keep pace­ with Rafa for the whole match

  7. Thanks,sanchez.santos. I used to comment a lot on this­ site but for a long time the comments were so idiotic­ and really disgusting that I stopped. Lately, it's­ gotten better - so I am back!
    Unfortunately, I did not­ see the match between Rafa and Gil; from the score line­ its not always easy to tell what went on. Anyway, well­ done Gil for taking Rafa to 5-7!
    I am very disappointed­ in tiagomarcelo though. He was a 100% |Rafa fan and now­ just because a Portuguese player is playing he is ready­ to dump the great champion. Shame on you Tiago. Rafa­ doesn't need fair weather friends like you.Hanna43
