  1. - - Thanks for joining me; make sure you come back for the final, won't you?

  2. 2-6 - THERE IT IS! DP can't get off the court quick enough as Murray holds comfortably to seal the win! The Brit is delighted. He didn's play well in the second set, but was otherwise quite sensational.

  3. 2-5 - Surely that's it now! A long game from Dp, in which he has the trainer out between points, oddly enough. Murray wastes the first break point, but a stunning return winner followed by another error see the Brit to a double-break.

  4. 2-4 - An ace for Murray in a game he holds comfortably to crank the atmopshere up a notch; DP has the trainer out between games, and doesn't look happy. Murray well on top now.

  5. 2-3 - BREAK! Murray holds before raining down a succession of tough blows on the DP serve from the baseline, forcing his young opponent to fire a backhand into the net to seal the break!

  6. 2-2 - Murray shows no signs of cracking under the pressure; DP seems to have picked up some minor injury; he looks over to the umpire's chair to alert him.

  7. 1-1 - Thw crowd are really into this match now; DP puts away a smash, no mistake, to seal his own hold after Murray gets started in confidenct fashion.

  8. 7-5 - OH NO! Murray is broken to love to hand the set to DP! Woeful final service game from the Brit, finishing with a half-hearted, caught-in-two-minds forehand hooked yards long.

  9. 5-5 - Great effort from Murray as he responds to DP's hold with a tough effort of his ownm firing home an excellent drive-volley to seal his hold after being taken to deuce.

  10. 4-4 - Both players hold, Murray to love; this second set has been much closer contested. DP has cut out the errors, and Murray is just content to play a bit within himself for the moment.

  11. 3-2 - OOH! Murray seems to have a chance at 15-30 but Dp comes back and finishes the hold with a blistering backhand winner into the corner.

  12. 2-2 - Big heart from Murray as he backs up his break back with a solid hold; after a brief slip, he's back in this match.

  13. 2-1 - EAT THAT! Murray breaks straight back as DP dumps a backhand into the net after a fine rally to seal the break to 15! First pump from Murray.

  14. 2-0 - Murray holds when JMDP fires a backhand long...BUT NO! A CHALLENGE FROM DP ON AN EARLIER MURRAY SHOT MEANS DEUCE! And Dp breaks! Now we have a match onQ

  15. 1-0 - JMDP gets on the board with a service hold to 15 at the start of the second set; he has been driven to insanity by Murray's scampering brilliance in the opening set, and frankly, looks a beaten man already.

  16. 6-1 - WOW! There is the first set! Murray looks in a spot of bother at 30-30 as DP tries to put some pressure on...but two really poor backhands from the South American mean Murray has the set!

  17. 5-0 - DP only has himself to blame as he misses two gettable put-aways to help Murray from 30-30 to another hold. Impeccable display this by the Briton, who has taken some excellent players apart in this tournament.

  18. 0-4 - Without question, the best defence I have ever seen; Murray scampers around the baseline, hounding down smashes before putting away a backhand to set up two break points...BOOM! There it is!

  19. 0-3 - Incredible defence on successive points from Murray move him to 40-15 and seem to frustrate DP; the hold follows next point. Great start.

  20. 0-2 - A fine backhand winner followed by an unforced error from Del P means Murray gets to 15-30....a cracking drop-shot at deuce means break-point...AND MURRAY BREAKS!

  21. 0-1 - Murray is full of slices and short angles as he holds to 30 to get on the scoreboard in the opening set.

  22. 0-0 - Okay! Off we go!

  23. 0-0 - Murray can expect to have most of the crowd against him tonight; Del Potro was well cheered by the South American population of Miami in his win against Nadal...

  24. - - The young men are out on the court, just about to go through their final warm-up.

  25. - - It's a windy day in Miami; can Murray and Del Potro combat the conditions to press on for a final against Djokovic?

  26. - - Hi there; welcome to the match!

really don't like your murray, but gotta admit ,one more time, the guy can play, looks like a nerd, must be training in a container, been playing in the sun for a month now,and he's still so white,it hurts, but he's got a serious ten years old attitude problem, was i Delpotro,i'd have jumped the net and snapped his scrawny neck.Delpotro obviously has his time routine to get back to the match, while Murray is in a hurry to go elsewhere, contradictingly though,he makes the points last for ages,so if he's in such a hurry,he should go for winners instead of neverendind returns,if he doesn't wanna play, maybe he can be a plumber ? we need fast ones

  6. it's fair to say that no 29 years old remain number 1,or two for very long,it's fair to say that no player without a good coach can stay top for very long,it's like preparing your own defense, the judge will say that only a fool has only himself for a lawyer, and it's fair to say that the djoko we've been seeing lately is far from the one that could beat anyone a couple of years back,a rather poor performance today against one of the lowest federer we've ever seen might not be enough to defeat the likes of the ten year old Murray-no-patience-no-mercy.so,my money is on Murray, but my heart is with Federer and Nadal of course.Djoko in form though, should put the awe in the O shaped always opened mouth of a receiving Murray,as easy as Lendl used to do with the simply genius of McEnroe

  7. And yes ddeeguy, Argentina lost in La Paz... Noone ever wins in La Paz.
Fact remains since the ranking system was established, Argentina have maintained a place in the top 10... so to call them inconsistent is beyond stupid.

  9. hahahahahahahaha No-one standing in the way of Murray to a grand slam?
Lay off the crack dimwit. I guess Rafa is just a fairytale... get it through your head that Rafa and Federer are different beasts when it comes to grand slams.

And no I'm not American gila, why the HELL would you think that?.. And you say I insulted you...
Anyway, to say Federer can't play on hard courts nor clay courts, shows how little you know about tennis.. so keep your bias and favouritism views to yourself.

Yes, Murray will achieve more than Henman in terms of money, ranking and titles, but he is not as styling to watch.

when murray was coming up, i supported him and wished he'd be d 1 to pose a threat 2 my idol nadal but ever since eurosport customized him and started heaping sometimes unnecessary praises on him and degrading his opponents, i dislike him now.

  20. Eurosport should wake and keep up with the scores. However who ever said that Henman was the best knows nothing about tennis and sports in general. It is like claimimg that Kournikova was the greatest female on the tour. Henman was a media hype to keep British hopes so that they would not phase out Wimbledon dominated by foreigners.
