    U are absolutely right and u have agreed­ on my point. Safina is better "for now"­ 'cause the clay court season is on and will end­ with the Fench Open. At least Safina can use this­ season to build her confidence. I'm sure u­ wouldn't bet against The Williams Sisters when the­ grass, hard and carpet court seasons kicks off.

  4. Well done Safina. This win is very important. At least­ she get confidence now that she can beat William­ sisters. Of course, there are many good players out­ there but you will never win grand slam if you cannot­ beat William sisters.

  7. Venus did well considering that clay has never been her­ favorite surface. She has the reputation of faultering­ early @ the French Open just to kick some serious butt­ at the all England Club and the US Open. Now that's­ when the real tennis begins for the Wiliams Sister. For­ now all credit goes to Safina.
