  2. -- - Well that was ultimately fairly straightforward for the Serbian fifth seed, a few good moments for Rybarikova but Jankovic was always in control against the girl 47 places below her in the world rankings.

  3. 6-2 - A few good shots from Jankovic and an unforced error by Rybarikova and it's 40-0 against serve, three match points to the Serb... Second serve for Rybarikova and it's a decent one, surprising Jankovic who backhands into the net. 40-15, still two break points but a double fault from Rybarikova and Jankovic is through to the third round, 6-1 6-2.

  4. 5-2 - Rybarikova has a break point at 40-30 and, after a great rally, she throws it away by chipping weakly into the net with Jankovic all over the place. To deuce but advantage Rybarikova and second serve for Jankovic.... into the net with the return, deuce. Jankovic holds, a test of her nerve, 5-2 and Rybarikova serving to stay in the match,.

  5. 4-2 - An enthralling game that quickly gets to deuce but shows no sign of being won as Jankovic loses a break point and Rybarikova spurns a chance to win herself by getting stranded at the baseline when Jankovic's dipping backhand lands just inside the service line. Rybarikova wins the game though, holding serve, but it seems she is only delaying the inevitable. Jankovic started brilliantly but seems to have realised she won't need anywhere near her best tennis to win this one.

  6. 4-1 - Jankovic is left doing the splits after she attempts to change direction to meet Rybarikova's shot to the baseline. It's deuce now as Rybarikova attempts to bite back from that break. She holds though, 4-1.

  7. 3-1 - ... but she loses her third break point of the game after an enthralling rally culminates in Jankovic standing bemused after being out-foxed by Rybarikova's lob. But, eventually, she breaks the Slovak, who just tired and makes an unforced error, low into the net.

  8. 2-1 - A round of applause for Rybarikova, who rescues a seemingly lost point with a drop of the eyes and a forehand winner down the line. Jankovic battles away though and has a break point now but she sends a lob long and it's deuce. Super double-handed backhand after a rally of forehands gives Jankovic another break point. Jankovic looks bemused as it's back to deuce, thinking she'd won with a diagonal volley across the net but left static by a superb lob to the back of the court. Advantage Jankovic again though...

  9. 2-1 - Rybarikova wins a couple of points as she gets into a groove with some good groundstrokes and a volleyed winner, but Jankovic still wins the game after she sends her return long.

  10. 1-1 - Jankovic looks a bit rattled, with another unforced error into the net after exchanging backhands with the serving Rybarikova, who then sends it wide for 15-30. The pair battle to deuce, Rybarikova delighting the crowd with a forehand that a stretching Jankovic just misses to save a break point and take it to deuce. But Jankovic breaks anyway with two ferocious returns.

  11. 0-1 - Two excellent points from Rybarikova put her 30-0 up against serve, the second particularly impressive as she won with a superb forehand into the corner that Jankovic could get nowhere near. Two break points for Rybarikova now, but shorted to one after he backhands poorly and out. She looped that slightly too high and it just dropped harmlessly wide. But a shocking forehand from the baseline by Jankovic flies well long and it's a break for the Slovak!

  12. 6-1 - A powerful return across court leaves Rybarikova a spectator. 30-0 now as the Slovak fails to deal with some powerful groundstrokes by Jankovic, playing weakly into the net. The point is repeated almost shot-for-shot, three break and set points for Jankovic but finally a good couple of points from the 20-year-old to bring it back to 40-30, her forehand smash to win the second one a particular highlight. But a great pass into the corner from Jankovic wins the game and the first set.

  13. 5-1 - A howl of frustration from Jankovic after an unforced error brings it to 15-15 in this service game for the Serb. Rybarikova follows with one of her own though, backhanding low into the net under little pressure. She repeats the favour to put Jankovic 40-15 up but then, after a baseline rally, Jankovic tires and mis-hits a passing into the net. She wins the game though, struggling in the next rally but coming to the net and volleying just inside the right corner. That was almost lucky.

  14. 4-1 - Two break points for Jankovic after a ferocious double-handed backhand across court into the corner leaves Rybarikova statuesque. But the Slovak wins the next point after sending Jankovic scrambling into the corner. And She takes it to deuce with a delicate lob that drops just over, Jankovic only able to to play it into the net. Eventually she holds too, after overcoming another break point for Jankovic. So no bagel and that will do wonders for her confidence.

  15. 4-0 - A great rally that sees Rybarikova put in some testing lobs but Jankovic is mobile enough to return them all and wins the point with a backhand smash at the net. This is far too easy for Jankovic, racing into a 40-0 lead but Rybarikova wins a point with a well-disguised forehand down the line that Jankovic can't keep in. But Jankovic wins the point after Rybarikovo undoes all her good work in the next rally with an unforced error, backhanding across court but into the net with Jankovic scrambling across.

  16. 3-0 - Unforced error from Rybarikova sees her slip 30-0 down on her second service game, attempting a backhand chip that thuds tamely into the net. Then Jankovic gets lucky, a risky forehand clipping the net to spin past Rybarikova and down the line. Two break points and, ultimately, a love break for Jankovic.

  17. 2-0 - Rybarikova goes long with her double-handed backhand return, looped to the baseline with little power as Jankovic watches it bounce out to take a 2-0 lead.

  18. 1-0 - Jankovic starts with a break, with her opponent only managing the one point.

  19. 0-0 - Match underway between fifth seed Jankovic and Rybarikova.

  20. 09:52 - Rybarikova on the other hand is ranked just outside the top 50, currently sitting at 53, although she has been as high as 46 back in February You can also see Rybarikova's profile here.

  21. 09:50 - These two players have never met each other on any surface before so there's nothing to go on there. But Jankovic has been enjoying a return to form of late and is seeded fifth for this tournament. Have a look at Jankovic's profile here
