  4. webbski, if you have never been in portugal, I assume­ you can´t speak or understand portuguese...And i­ guarantee you something, Michelle speaks portuguese­ perfectly, simply and obviously because she´s from­ Portugal, not USA...
    Just because someone speaks­ english fluently, with an american accent, doesn´t mean­ that person is american/english. Other examples exist,­ like sharapova, because these girls go to the USA so­ young, that it´s quite normal they get that american­ accent...Still, they will always be portuguese and­ russian respectively.

  6. The portuguese player has a totally american accent,­ with no hint of portuguese accent. Comletely fluent in­ English. Obviously spent her whole life in the USA.­ Indeed, she is about as Portuguese now as I am (and I­ have never been there).

It was interesting to see the spectators not comment on­ the Rezai's remarks and the bad mood she had.­ Imagine it was Michelle questioning the calls and­ complaining about everything in the first set. Can it­ be because Rezai has the French flag next to her name?­ I've watched Rezai live many times and she never­ had such a mood!!! The French Open effect on French­ players must be the reason for it. And I'm sorry to­ say that this is causing French Open to loose its­ sparkle in the eyes of Tennis lovers.

  9. That screaming is truly painful to listen to. Given­ her youth, surely her coaches and trainers could work­ on it. I cant stand it when any of the women players­ make such noise. I really feel its gamesmanship and is­ done specifically to get under the skin of the opposing­ player. She is obviously a talented player but she­ should focus on her game and lay off the sound effects.­ I'm all for seeing a player making an effort and­ putting their heart and soul into their matches but I­ like to watch my tennis with the volume up not on­ mute!!

  10. This has got to be stopped.....!!!! That screaming­ little @#$% is a CHEAT...nothing less......The­ authorities have got to stop her making such a­ racket(duh!!) If you cannot hear the opponent strike­ the ball through their squealing then that is a­ fault.....ban the @#$% I say........
