  1. - - Thanks for joining us in this match, the next encounter on the Suzanne Lenglen court will be Sergiy Stakhovsky of Ukraine against Novak Djokovic, and you can follow that match with us!

  2. - - In the fourth round, Ivanovic will face the winner of Victoria Azarenka and Carla Suarez Navarro of Spain. To see the full women's draw at Roland Garros, click here

  3. - - Ivanovic spends an age signing her autograph on tennis balls, programmes and camera lenses, before finally leaving the stage, with Benesova trudging off despondently.

  4. 2-6 - Ana Ivanovic wins in straight sets, breaking Benesova yet again! The Serb is incredibly fired up out there, clenching her fist after a superb drop shot gives her match point, and a fierce forehand down the line gives her a 6-0 6-2 victory.

  5. - - If you would like to follow the progress of Fernando Verdasco against Nicolas Almagro on the Philippe Chatrier court, click here

  6. 2-5 - Ivanovic races to 40-0 with a deft drop shot from the net which leaves Benesova scrambling in vain, and wins the game with a powerful slice serve out wide to the Czech's backhand - the Serb is just one game from victory now!

  7. 2-4 - Benesova and Ivanovic engage in an epic game as the Czech's serve is relentlessly pressured by her opponent, who finally breaks serve, forcing her opponent to overhit a forehand after a staggering 12 deuces!

  9. 2-3 - This is a much more strenuous test for Ivanovic in the second set, and Benesova pushes the Serb out to 40-30 before being outpowered in the final point with a string of big forehands down the line.

  10. 2-2 - Ivanovic gets back on serve with a fine game of pressure tennis: the Serb refused to let her opponent settle into any of the rallies, pinning her back with an array of deep groundstrokes to level at 2-2.

  11. 2-1 - Benesova breaks Ivanovic! Now that really is a shock, given the way that the first set was played out. The Czech seized upon some loose groundstrokes from Ivanovic, finding the baseline with two powerful forehands. Perhaps the Serb got a little complacent there?

  12. 1-1 - Benesova finally gets herself on the board, to encouraging applause from the crowd on the Suzanne Lenglen court. The Czech found some rhythm, serving out to Ivanovic's backhand, and got her reward.

  13. 0-1 - If you had any doubts whether the second set might be different to the first, Ivanovic has dispelled those with a comprehensive service game to love. The Serb raced through it, barely breaking into a run, stepping inside the baseline and swotting the ball down the line with ease.

  14. - - While the players have a quick breather before embarking on the second set, with Ivanovic to serve, you can follow all the other matches at Roland Garros by clicking here

  15. 0-6 - A third break of serve gives Ivanovic the first set in emphatic fashion - 6-0! The Serb has been unflinching in her attitude and determination as she has cantered through the opening set, leaving Benesova without a glimmer of a chance. A flashing forehand seals it.

  16. 0-5 - Ivanovic holds to 15, and Benesova is unable to establish herself in any of the rallies at the moment, with the Serb completely ruthless in her aggressive approach.

  17. 0-4 - A stunning cross-court winner from Ivanovic gives her a second break of serve, and a 4-0 lead in this first set, after forcing Benesova into two stray backhands.

  18. 0-3 - Ivanovic holds with a minimum of fuss, slamming two forehands down the line and dominating the points with an intensity which Benesova cannot deal with.

  19. 0-2 - A neat volley at the net after a long slide from Ivanovic gives her a valuable early break of serve, with Benesova erring with some weak second serves to the Serb's body.

  20. - - While Benesova prepares to respond with her first service game of the match, take a look at the 26-year-old's profile, by clicking here

  21. 0-1 - Ivanovic does not look convincing on her serve initially, with Benesova latching on to any short groundstrokes and forcing a break point, but two fierce forehands down the line win the game for the Serb.

  22. - - As Ivanovic gets us underway, take a look at the 21-year-old's profile, by clicking here

  23. 0-0 - Ana Ivanovic wins the toss and elects to serve first, all in light blue, with the left-handed Benesova in black.

  24. - - The pair have met four times, with Ivanovic winning each, including a victory at Roland Garros in 2005. The Suzanne Lenglen court is filling up slowly, but there are still many empty seats.
