2-1 - Benesova breaks Ivanovic! Now that really is a shock, given the way that the first set was played out. The Czech seized upon some loose groundstrokes from Ivanovic, finding the baseline with two powerful forehands. Perhaps the Serb got a little complacent there?

0-1 - If you had any doubts whether the second set might be different to the first, Ivanovic has dispelled those with a comprehensive service game to love. The Serb raced through it, barely breaking into a run, stepping inside the baseline and swotting the ball down the line with ease.

0-6 - A third break of serve gives Ivanovic the first set in emphatic fashion - 6-0! The Serb has been unflinching in her attitude and determination as she has cantered through the opening set, leaving Benesova without a glimmer of a chance. A flashing forehand seals it.

0-4 - A stunning cross-court winner from Ivanovic gives her a second break of serve, and a 4-0 lead in this first set, after forcing Benesova into two stray backhands.

0-2 - A neat volley at the net after a long slide from Ivanovic gives her a valuable early break of serve, with Benesova erring with some weak second serves to the Serb's body.

0-1 - Ivanovic does not look convincing on her serve initially, with Benesova latching on to any short groundstrokes and forcing a break point, but two fierce forehands down the line win the game for the Serb.

0-0 - Ana Ivanovic wins the toss and elects to serve first, all in light blue, with the left-handed Benesova in black.
