1-5 - Stosur holds once again despite having to recover twice from 0-15 and 15-30 down and the Australian now is just the one game away from the fourth round of the French Open

0-4 - A little bit of confusion between the players as Dementieva's hat flies off during a point and umpire Alves orders the point to be replied. But the upshot is that it's a first serve again to Stosur and she quickly breezes through another service hold, despite having dropped the first point, by winning the next four points

15-40 - The noise level is rising rapidly from Dementieva but it's not helping much just at the moment as she sends a cross court backhand out to hand Stosur another two break points ...

0-1 - Here we go again! Dementieva takes an extended break at the end of the second set to change her dress and it doesn't seem to have done her much good as she comes back and promptly drops serve. She really should have done better in that game and allowed Stosur multiple chances to get back into one point looking surprised when the Australian then produced a backhand passing shot for the winner

Ad-40 - The chance goes begging for the Russian as she hits a forehand just long, but she will have a second chance to level up the match as she lands another ferocious forehand right on the baseline ...

5-4 - And the Russian does just hold on as Stosur fails to clear the net with a backhand drop shot. The Australian will need to serve to stay in the set after the chance of ends

40-Ad - Dementieva saves it with a forehand winner but Stosur sets up a second chance at the break with some amazing defensive work that concludes with a forehand passing shot across court at full stretch off the floor!

4-4 - Once again Stosur has to recover from dropping the first point on her serve but does manage to hold and stick with Dementieva as we reach the business end of this second set

3-3 - Stosur also manages to post a service hold but it is really hard work as the Australian has to save a break point and come up with a cracking forehand passing shot. Stosur is giving herself a real talking to at the end of the game as she waits for the balls to make their way down to the other end of the court

2-2 - A fourth consecutive break of serve to open this second set. A series of poor serves from Stosur leaves Dementieva with three break back points and, although the first goes astray when the Russian fails to clear the net with a drop shot, she gets the break back at the second attempt with Stosur mis-hits a forehand return of serve

40-Ad - Dementieva manages to save the chance working her way into the net before producing a forehand volley winner, helping a little by Stosur slipping on the baseline. But once again Stosur gets an opportunity on for the break as Dementieva pushes an inside out forehand wide ...

1-1 - Ouch! Stosur appears to have gone off the boil a little as well and Dementieva breaks straight back as the Australian slaps down a double fault. She didn't get a first serve in in that game, compared with an 82 per cent first serve success rate in the first set

3-6 - And this time STOSUR HAS THE SET! Dementieva can do little with another big first serve from the Australian and Stosur quickly races up to the short ball to fire it away down the lnie for a forehand winner

Ad-40 - Stosur works herself into a great position at the net and really should have done better than dumping a backhand volley into the net. She is a doubles Grand Slam winner after all! Dementieva then sets up another break back point moving up the court to benefit from a couple of shorter balls from the Australian ...

40-15 - Dementieva gets lucky on the first point of the game with the ball hitting the top of the tape and just dribbling over, before Stosur dumps an overhead into the bottom of the net. A forehand just wide from Stosur a couple of points later and Dementieva has two break back points ...

40-Ad - Once again Stosur squanders the chance with her forehand return of serve drifting long but a one-two punch of a cross court forehand return which pushes Dementieva very wide indeed followed up by an inside out forehand to the other side of court hands Stosur a third chance ...

30-40 - Stosur comes up with a blistering backhand winner down the line before firing a forehand return of serve winner, also down the line and the Australian has a break point ...

3-3 - Dementieva levels up with another servce hold to 15. The serve now is beginning to dominate this match, providing it goes in of course! Although the Russian manages to avoid a double fault in this game, for the first time in the match

2-2 - Dementieva also posts her first service hold of the match, although another two double faults make it slightly more nervy than it should have been. I guess that's just the way it goes with the Russian, she's probably used to it by now!

1-1 - Consecutive double faults is not a great way to start serving in a match but it is exactly what Dementieva does and allows Stosur to go on and break back to 15, the Australian stepping inside the baseline to a shorter ball from her opponent and firing off an inside out cross court forehand for the winner

0-0 - Stosur won the toss and has opted to serve first so it'll be the Australian to get us underway ...
