Fish's name leads itself to so many puns and wordplay...it's a shame he is out. Andy Murray is through though, he is through to the semi-finals to play Juan-Carlos Ferrero.

  2. 6-3 - GAME SET AND MATCH. Murray's dink shot was definitely going wide, but Fish played the ball anyway and put it long, that put Murray 0-30 up. Fish was looking fried. The American took the next two points, but that would be all. Murray slammed a forehand past him onto the line to seal the victory.

  3. 5-3 - Murray has cemented his break.

  4. 4-3 - "Come on, come on!" Yelps Roddick, I mean, Murray. A lovely lob over Fish gives him a break point, he cannot take it, but he has the next one when Fish slams into the net. Murray has Fish hook, line and sinker, will he be able to wriggle out of this one?

  5. 3-3 - Murray gets Fish on the run, he gets pushed from side to side which the Brit eventually flicks past him.

  6. 2-3 - Fish runs out to a 40-0 lead before Murray slams a massive serve out wide from Fish back down the line, fantastic athleticism to get to the ball. That causes Fish to start changing his game plan. Fish gets out of the game with his serve in tact.

  7. 2-2 - Murray is toying with Fish, the Brit hits a chip shot which Fish does well to get to, the American then hustles to his left to get to the next ball, but it doesn't come as Murray slams the ball right back down the line. Murray sending out a message like a shark moving in for the kill on a fish.

  8. 1-2 - Fish holds with a cute drop shot over the net.

  9. 1-1 - No bother at all with that service game. Murray hits an ace to begin with and he then nonchalantly flicks the ball over the net after Fish launches himself at the ball to put it back in play. Murray then finishes with an ace.

  10. 0-1 - Fish slams down an ace to confirm his service hold.

  11. 7-5 - Murray has only lost one point when his first serve goes in during this match. He serves brilliantly again and takes the first set.

  12. 6-5 - Classy passing forehand from Murray gives him three break points. The first two go to second serve, which Fish some guts with to send down big serves. Fish messes up on the third one though, hitting the volley on the serve and volley into the net.

  13. 5-5 - Nervous times for the umpire, he over rules the line judge which Fish challenges, the umpire was correct though and Murray holds to love.

  14. 4-5 - Murray hits a lovely backhand on the run down the line. Fish saves it with a big serve out wide and then comes to the net to slam home the forehand winner.

  15. 4-4 - Fish can only bunt Murray's serves back and he really cannot do much with the big Murray serve.

  16. 3-4 - Fish hits a serve out wide which Murray can only slap into the net. We remain on serve.

  17. 3-3 - Murray clips Fish long which he fishes out with a between the leg forehand, Murray slaps down a smash which Fish again returns and he becomes favourite for the point, but he somehow puts his shot long.

  18. 2-3 - Fish holds to love, sealing it with a big serve down the middle which Murray can only put into the net.

  19. 2-2 - Funfact #1: If you combine doubles and singles records, Mardy Fish is the best player in the world. Murray holds his serve.

  20. 1-2 - Fish has been using the serve and volley tactic to perfection so far.

  21. 1-1 - Anything you can do...Andy Murray can do, three aces from the Brit gives him the hold.

  22. 0-1 - Murray gets out to a 0-30 start before Fish comes back with three aces to hold his serve.

  10. It's been cycling all week now it's cars. Can­ you get any more cruel to eurosport international­ viewers? NO LIVE SEMIS and NO LIVE FINAL. NO TENNIS on­ NATIONAL TV AND NO VIDEOS ALLOWED IN ITALY EITHER.­ Thank goodness Wimby is on Sky and we have 6 courts to­ choose from.
