Well, yes. You're right that you haven't said­ anything awful about her. I was just fed up because I­ certainly read so hateful, unfair critics about her ­ that I must have written that down. It wans't­ straight for you. It was just a reply to all if those­ unfair critics.

I haven't said anything awful about Sharapova-she­ does take over 20 second,delay her opponents and­ scream. Those things aren't fair and there is­ nothing violently about pointing out to that.I­ certainly didn't use any ugly word to describe­ her.But I always say that I am glad that she is back­ because it's nice to see someone who doesn't­ collapse under pressure like so many women do these­ days.

You definitely hate her. It can be seen from your­ words. But it's alright. And you told her opinion­ about her. It's alright. This is why messageboards­ and forums exist. I just don't understand why­ people talk about others - now about Sharapova - so­ hatefully. There are countless players I do hate but I­ never talk about them so violently.

For my part, I'm not envious of the Williams­ sisters, or their success. I do respect them and all of­ the other players too. I'm just a great fan of­ Maria.
Since we are humans she also has mistakes like­ everyone has. I know her accomplishments and negatives­ and I accept them. You can chide her but I'll­ defend her whatever comes.

And only reason why Sharapova got any support in RG­ this year was because she has been away for so long-in­ the last three years she has been booed of the court­ and when she won Aussie Final against Ivanović­ in 2008 she got a mute reaction from the crowd-some­ people barely managed to force themselves to clap-which­ just shows how well loved she really is due to all this­ screaming and time-delays.

tonikumbayer2008: You are totally right! I was there in­ Paris and I felt the same. Li seemed better on that­ match and had a 4-2 lead in the third set. But the the­ crowd (me too of course) started to cheer Maria with­ shouting her name as loud as it was possible. The­ atmosphere was unbelievable!!! It was pure magic­ because Masha started fighting with all of her energy­ and won the match. =]

Unfortunately, I couldn't­ watch the match either.

did someone watch Li vs­ Maria match during French open 2009. I did. and­ actually, i thought Li was the better of two. in third­ set, Li actually up 4-2, and then, the crowd started­ enchanting Sharapova's name. and it clearly­ affected Li's game. and then, Li's game broken­ and Sharapova won the deciding set.

i don't watch­ today's match between Maria and Li. can someone­ tell me, please?

You can't say that she's stupid. She's just­ not in her best form yet. What a surprise... After her­ shoulder injury she must have skipped some 9 months. It­ was a very long time without training and playing. And­ now you're blaming her because of her poor serving­ and so on. But I don't know how you would play if­ you were in a same situation. She has to work hard and­ find her best again step by step. It's just the­ matter of time and she will be better than before. ­ Now, she needs to play as much as she can. Then we can­ expect trophies.
Even if she lost this match, I do­ think that now she played much better than in Paris. ­

And about screaming... I don't like it, but what­ the hell she could do if this is her habit?! She­ doesn't do it on purpose to annoy her opponents,­ she just can give it up.
I have really a same thing..­ I'm always cracking my fingers when I play chess. ­ For some of my opponenst it is very disturbing, but the­ others don't even notice it.

But­ you know, we still have to understand that Maria just­ came back to the tour and we have to understand that­ she isn't at her best. I think that semifinal is an­ really good result . But yeahh it's now just a week­ to Wimbledon and Maria really can be a Dark Horse for­ the title there ! :D Good Luck Maria ! :)

But she wasn't comfortable at­ all, her forhand really let her down.
The one thing she­ was doing good was serving, she only hit 2­ double-faults and she hit 2 aces. But I think that Na­ Li now has a clear passage to the final after beating­ Maria. Good luck Na Li! :]
