  1. - - Hradecka will look to the awful smash shot she played in the second set which would have given her the break of serve and most probably the match. The Czech also blew two match points and will think that she should have gone through. It is the girl from Serbia who goes through though.

  2. 6-8 - Hradecka puts the first point into the net and the second she hooks wide. After double faulting, Ana gets a massive slice of luck when the ball creeps over after she crashed the ball into the net chord. Hradecka puts the ball wide and that SENDS ANA IVANOVIC THROUGH TO THE SECOND ROUND.

  3. 6-7 - Down on one knee, like a batsman playing a cover drive, Hradecka puts the ball long and that gives Ivanovic three break points. Ana just needs the one, as she slams a return first time down the line. IVANOVIC SERVING FOR THE MATCH

  4. 6-6 - 15-30 down Ana plays the point brilliantly to push Hradecka wide and to crash a winner down the middle. Hradecka does get her match point chance though, courtesy of a double break. Ivanovic saves the point with a serve which Hradecka can only put into the net. Ana then sends down an ace to take the game.

  5. 6-5 - Hradecka then turns it around and holds well. Ana looked very awkward making her shots there.

  6. 5-5 - Ana thinks she sent down an ace to give her two match points. Her celebration is interuppted by the umpire though and she double faults. She gets the match point, but it is saved by Hradecka. The Czech then recovers and gets the break back. WE ARE BACK ON SERVE.

  7. 4-5 - ANA HAS THE BREAK! Hradecka slams the ball into the net and that gives Ana two break points. Hradecka puts the first serve into the net and Ana jumps onto the second and fires a forehand winner. Ivanovic is now serving for the match.

  8. 4-4 - Ana is still having struggles with her ball toss and her first attempt is a long way in front of her. Hradecks stops, expecting Ana to catch the ball, but she carries on and hits ace. Ana holds to love once again.

  9. 4-3 - Hradecka holds once more. The slighest wrong mistake could end this contest.

  10. 3-3 - Apart from a long forehand, Ana's game there was perfect.

  11. 3-2 - And we continue to stay on serve.

  12. 2-2 - Ana got the luck on three umpiring decisions, the first and third were questionable, the second was definitely wrong. That game could have easily have gone to Hradecka, but Ivanovic gets the hold.

  13. 2-1 - Hradecka slams a backhand into the net but it just creeps over, a bit of luck for her. We remain on serve.

  14. 1-1 - Ivanovic also holds to love...who will blink first in this set?

  15. 1-0 - Hrdecka is still fighting in this match and holds to love.

  16. 2-6 - Ana saves two break points and finishes it in style with a whipped forehand at the net. WE ARE GOING TO A THIRD SET.

  17. 2-5 - Ivanovic plays a perfect drop shot which dies on Hradecka. That gives Ana two break points. Hradecka saves the first, but double faults on the second.

  18. 2-4 - How on earth did Hradecka miss those chances? And how on earth can she laugh about it? Ana lobs the ball up for the Czech for an easy put away smash, all she can do is give it straight back to Ana who again lobs it up for an even easier shot, which again is missed. Hradecka has two more break opportunites, both are missed and Ana takes the game with a forehand which Lucie can only put long. That could well be the turning point of this match.

  19. 2-3 - Someone needs to tell Hradecka that she is a set up and playing well. She has begun talking to herself and constantly looking up to her support team for reassurance. Amid all that turmoil though, she played a delightful lob shot. Hradecka double faults and IVANOVIC HAS THE BREAK.

  20. 2-2 - Ivanovic is playing her way back into this match and is looking more confident with her serve. She sends down an ace to win the game.

  21. 2-1 - Hradecka's holds her serve with an ace down the middle.

  22. 1-1 - Very unlucky for Ana, the umpire calls let for a stray ball from another court just as she is about to send down a winner into the empty net. Ana wins the replayed point but gives up a double fault on the next point to take it to deuce. Ivanovic takes the next two points, securing it with an ace out wide.

  23. 1-0 - That game was all about Hradecka as she sent down two aces. The only point ofr Ivanovic came from a double fault.

  24. 7-5 - Ivanovic hooks the ball out of the court and that gives Hradecka two break points. Ana comes into the net and tries to cut a backhand down the middle and sends it long, and that is good enough for the first set for Hradecka. Ivanovic looked to get very tight on the big points in that game.

  25. 6-5 - At 30 all Ivanovic looked angry with herself after she put the ball wide; she had set herself up perfectly for the backhand down the line. Hradecka made her pay for the mistake and took the remaining points.

  26. 5-5 - Ivanovic has stopped the errors from her ball toss and it is becoming a big weapon for her. Ana hits an ace and then an unreturnable serve to seal the game.

  27. 5-4 - Hradecka's serve was sent out wide and Ivanovic struggled to put the ball back with enough depth. That opened up the court for the Czech to put the ball away with ease.

  28. 4-4 - Ivanovic balloons the ball out of the court and she is broken back.

  29. 3-4 - An unfortunate landing for Hradecka as she finishes in the splits going for a big forehand down the line. At 30 all the Czech missed an easy lob and gave it straight to Ana who put it away easily.

  30. 3-3 - Apart from having some yips with her serve, Ivanovic had no problems at all on that service game. Consecutive holds to love for these two.

  31. 3-2 - Hradecka holds to love and Ivanovic now knows that she has a tough task on her hands.

  32. 2-2 - Hradecka stops playing as she waits for a call that never comes. Ivanovic carries on and takes the point. No reviews available on this court remember.

  33. 2-1 - The Czech holds once more, again she comes back 0-30 and looks confident doing so.

  34. 1-1 - Ivanovic looks good on her service game, mixing it up with some nice angles and spin.

  35. 1-0 - Ivanovic takes Hradecka to deuce before the Czech holding her serve.
