  2. 6-2 - GAME. SET AND MATCH. Del Potro sends down an ace to bring up his match points and Clement slams the ball long.

  3. 5-2 - That game sums up the match for Clement. He does well to hang in the rally while being pushed wider and wider and then hits a great winner. He then drops some easy points. He is broken and Del Potro is serving for the match.

  4. 4-2 - Del Potro fires down a quick second serve which Clement can only hook into the stands. He is just two games away from victory now.

  5. 3-2 - Clement does well and holds to 15.

  6. 3-1 - Some encouragement for Clement, or for Del Potro's opponents later in the week perhaps. The Frenchman got the Argentine on the run and soon became favourite for the points when he did so. He could not do it consistently though and Del Potro edges closer to victory.

  7. 2-1 - Del Potro went back to his serve and volley tactic, but Del Potro was alive to it. That brought put three break points and he took the second of them with a smash into Clement's body which he can only put wide.

  8. 1-1 - Del Potro is looking very impressive on his serve now. He sends down an ace to confirm is hold.

  9. 0-1 - Clement now has a white bandana on and he holds his serve.

  10. 6-1 - Del Potro makes easy work of the serve, and it is a bread stick for the second set.

  11. 5-1 - Clement tries some new tactics to take into the third set. Del Potro puts the ball right past him as he makes his way to the net to give the Argentine two set points. Clement saves both of them and serves it out, the second is not going to be a bagel.

  12. 5-0 - Clement hooks the ball wildly out of play and Del Potro holds his serve to love.

  13. 4-0 - The number five seed is turning the screw now. He wins a rally which he controlled from the first touch of the ball. Clement tries to go for the winner but can only put the ball into the net.

  14. 3-0 - And the Argentine holds to love to cement the break.

  15. 2-0 - 30 all, first game of the second set, Clement really does not want to double fault, does he double fault? Of course he does. Del Potro takes advantage on a second serve which Clement just puts into the service box rather than trying to do anything with the ball.

  16. 1-0 - Clement ditches the red bandana and goes for a black one instead. It makes no difference, Del Potro holds.

  17. 6-3 - Clement had a miserable time of things in that game. His serve fell apart once again. His first serve percentage is down to 34% and he hit two double faults in that game. Del Potro easily put away a forehand to seal the set.

  18. 5-3 - Clement fires a cross court winner to put him ahead 0-30, that would be all for him. Del Potro sealed it with some serve and volley.

  19. 4-3 - Clement found his range there though. Del Potro fired a return back at him and he showed nice touch at the net to drop the ball over to precision.

  20. 4-2 - An ace is taken away from Del Potro because of a foot fault, something for the Argentine to look out for. That is all he has to look for though, the Frenchman is struggling to find his range today.

  21. 3-2 - The rally goes back and forth and Del Potro slams the ball long to give the game to Clement. The Frenchman is struggling with his first serve and if Del Potro can jump on to his second, then Clement could be in trouble.

  22. 3-1 - Del Potro slams a forehand into the net and that is the first point against his serve so far. That will be all for Clement though.

  23. 2-1 - Clement starts with another double fault but he re-groups and gets himself on the board after a shaky start.

  24. 2-0 - Clement ditches his shades, but it does not change his fortunes. Del Potro cements his break and he is looking very good, he sent down his first ace in that game.

  25. 1-0 - Clement has the worst possible start. He kicks off with a double fault and finishes with a double fault. He is a break down.
