  1. 6-7 - GAME SET AND MATCH TO TSONGA. Tsonga goes to the serve and volley to seal the match. Both players receive a standing ovation and they deserve it, an excellent tennis match, played in a good spirit.

  2. 5-6 - Superb display of courage from Golubev. Facing match point he slams a big forehand which clips the line, Tsonga can only put it wide. The Frenchman then puts the next one into the net. Golubev saves two match points on his serve, can he take them off of Tsonga's serve?

  3. 2-5 - Tsonga gets into the net and showed great skill to take all of the pace from the ball to gently drop it over the net.l

  4. 1-2 - A vicious top spin forehand gives Tsonga the mini break.

  5. 6-6 - Pressure? What pressure? Serving to stay in the tournament? No bother at all...he holds to love. Tie-break time.

  6. 5-6 - Tsonga takes his ace count up to 15 and his hold to love games to five.

  7. 5-5 - What is the last thing you would want to do while serving at 30 all? Double fault. What did Golubev do? He double faulted. Tsonga then makes an error of his own, on the second serve, he inexplicably clipped the ball long. Golubev then turns things around, winning it with an ace.

  8. 4-5 - Golubev clips a backhand long and Tsonga holds his serve. The Frenchman is just one game away from victory, how will he approach it?

  9. 4-4 - Golubev has such a cool demeanour, he let Tsonga back into the game at deuce, but there was no sign of panick from him. Tsonga cut a forehand long and then could not return Golubev's serve.

  10. 3-4 - Tsonga hits his 12th and 13th aces, Golubev has to go back further and moves the line judge out of the way for the next serve, no good though, it is another ace. Golubev picks up the ball and lobs it back toward him, he could not get near him.

  11. 3-3 - Golubev has the chance for to take the game with a drive vclley which he puts a long way long. No worry though, he takes the next two points with an ace and then a smash.

  12. 2-3 - Tsonga hits a big serve which Golubev tries to attack but can only put into the net.

  13. 2-2 - Some loose shots from Golubev opened the door to Tsonga...which he then slams in his face.

  14. 1-2 - Both players are holding with ease. Tsonga sent down an ace to hold that one out.

  15. 1-1 - A Golubev ace out wide gives him a hold.

  16. 0-1 - Tsonga with some serve and volley, very nice to see.

  17. 4-7 - Tsonga plays a magnificent tie-break. He finally begins to come to the net. He goes up two sets to one.

  18. 3-5. - Some stunning ground strokes from Tsonga. First of all with a smash down the line which is dug out and then a cross court forehand winner. He repeats that shot again next up and Tsonga has the mini-break.

  19. 3-3 - Both players serving extremely well, very little in the way of rallies.

  20. 6-6 - Golubev hits the ball long to give the love game to Tsonga. Tie-break time.

  21. 6-5 - Golubev hits an outrageous forehand down the line while running backwards to save the break point, given the time and the situation that was very brave. Tsonga got himself another break point chance with a great hussle into the net to hit the ball back at his opponent. Again it was not taken and we are still on serve.

  22. 5-5 - Tsonga starts with two unforced errors to give his opponent the advantage. Golubev cannot do much with it though, putting the ball into the net on a second serve. That looked to be his chance. The rest of the game was all Tsonga's and we remain on serve.

  23. 5-4 - 15-30 Golubev makes a foolish decision to play a shot across court which goes wide. He saves both break points and then one more at deuce, much to Tsonga's frustration. Golubev had the Frenchman defending a long way behind the baseline throughout the game and then sealed the hold at the net with a smash.

  24. 4-4 - We are on serve and it is business time.

  25. 4-3 - Both player's forehands were too much for one another in that game. Tsonga got his nose in front with a shot which Golubev could not return and then the Kazakh hit an almost identical shot on the next point.

  26. 3-3 - While some aspects of Tsonga's game fall apart, his serve remains solid.

  27. 3-2 - 30 all, second serve, this should have been the time for Tsonga to get his nose in front, but he put the backhand long. He screams out his frustration. Golubev then takes the next point. Some cheap points given away from Tsonga.

  28. 2-2 - Tsonga's hold this time is solid.

  29. 2-1 - Golubev's second ace of the afternoon gives him his second game of the third set.

  30. 1-1 - Tsonga goes 0-30 down early and if it wasn't for his serve he would have been even further down. He had a chance to win the game with a routine forehand but hit it a long way wide. He took it at deuce though when Golubev's passing forehand clipped the net and fell out when Tsonga looked beaten.

  31. 1-0 - Golubev's form rolls over into the third set. Tsonga had a couple of sloppy shots in that game.

  32. 7-5 - Second set to Golubev. Tsonga makes a good decision to duck at the net and see the ball fly long and then makes a big mistake challenging a call mid rally which was a long way in. He double faulted next up and then Golubev hit a forehand on the run, down the line to take the second set.

  33. 6-5 - These two are not blinking on their serves in this set. We remain on serve.

  34. 5-5 - Golubev clips his return into the net and Tsonga gets the hold. Who is going to come through this set victorious?

  35. 5-4 - Golubev gets himself out of trouble with a cute drop shot, his decision making and poitioning on that point was all wrong, but he survived with the outrageous shot. He holds to love.

  36. 4-4 - While Golubev has long drawn out service games, Tsonga's are very quick, with very little drama.

  37. 4-3 - Another long service game from Golubev, though he didn't need to face a break point in that one. He may well have done if Tsonga hadn't been so lazy on some of his returns.

  38. 3-3 - Golubev clips the ball into the net and Tsonga holds.

  39. 3-2 - On the court, we go to 12 deuces with Golubev digging deep to save five break points. Golubev played his best tennis so far, but it came when he was surviving, not when he was trying to push home his advantage, twice he missed easy chances at winners. On Golubev's other advantages he looked to have them won before Tsonga fired impossible looking forehand winners down the line. The game eventually went to Golubev and the sense of relief was very evident on his face.

  40. - - Tsonga is such a gentlman. He slices a ball into the crowd which takes a woman's ear ring clean off. He takes the time to ensure she is ok and gives her the ball to keep. No sign of the ear ring yet.

  41. 2-2 - Tsonga hits a cute drop shot which Golubev does well to get to, he tries to clip it over but can only knock it wide. We remain on serve.

  42. 2-1 - Tsonga got Golubev on the run early in that game, forcing the Kazakh to play a big forehand past Tsonga from well beyond the baseline. The hold was sealed with a wide forehand from Tsonga.

  43. 1-1 - Golubev tries to rip a backhand down the line, but he can only slam it long, making it an easy hold for Tsonga.

  44. 1-0 - Golubev has started this second set alot better than he did in the first.

  45. 3-6 - Tsonga gets his game back together and hits some massive first serves to hold out the first set.

  46. 3-5 - He drops eight points in a row, and then takes eight points in a row, he holds to love, including his first ace. Tsonga needs to get his game back together.

  47. 2-5 - Good response from Golubev. After dropping eight straight points, he takes them all from Tsonga and breaks to love.

  48. 1-5 - Tsonga breaks him to love and he is now serving for the first set.

  49. - - If you are thinking that this Kazakhstani Golubev looks just like the Russian Golubev from last year's Wimbledon, you will be right, he has changed his nationality. Just to confuse things more, he lives in Italy.

  50. 1-4 - A fine game from Tsonga, he showed good touch and form from the back of court and at the net. He holds to love.

  51. 1-3 - Tsonga's big frame blocked the line judges view of the court and she missed the ball which was miles out, thankfully we have challenges, however did we survive without them...

  52. 0-3 - Tsonga cements his break. A perfect start for him.

  53. 0-2 - A bad game from Golubev. He tried to disguise his dropshot and did a terrible job at it, Tsonga easily read it and took the first point. Golubev double faulted to hand it to the Frenchman.

  54. 0-1 - Golubev got his nose in front and had a break point, he slipped behind the baseline though and that let Tsonga back into it. The Frenchman took it with an ace.

  55. - - These two have met just once before on the main, where Tsonga took the victory in straight sets in Marseille, a tournament that the Frenchman went on to win.

  56. - - Good afternoon one and all, you join us on court two for LIVE coverage of the match between Golubev and Tsonga.
