  1. 1-6 - Serena powers her way to victory! The American was rarely troubled at all in there. She won it in typical style with a forehand a cross court. For Groth, it could not have finished quick enough for her, she had a terrible times of things out there today.

  2. 1-5 - Order service is resumed. Serena slams a forehand which pushes Groth wide. Groth attempts to power a backhand down the line, but it falls just a little long. That means Serena is serving for the match.

  3. 1-4 - GROTH HAS TAKEN A GAME FROM SERENA! She decides that she may as well go for broke and shows us just what may have been possible earlier this afternoon. Groth's forehand really came alive and she pushed Serena further and further back. Can Groth now hold a service game?

  4. 0-4 - 47 minutes in and this is as good as over. Groth gives up her ninth double fault and clips the ball long to give Serena the double break.

  5. 0-3 - Groth attempts to slam a winning shot, but it just falls long and Serena cements her break.

  6. 0-2 - Williams quickly works her way to a break point but puts the ball into the net. She does this two more times, with again the same result. In the end Groth double faults and that gives Serena the break.

  7. 0-1 - Groth takes the first point, but that is all. Serena hits an ace and holds her serve.

  8. 2-6 - And stop your clock! Williams sews up the first set with a break of Groth's serve.

  9. 2-5 - Richard Williams takes his eye up from his puzzle to see Serena hold her serve to love.

  10. 2-4 - Serena blows her three chances to make it a double break and slams the ball into the net to give the game to Groth.

  11. 1-4 - And Serena follows itb up with a hold in double quick time.

  12. 1-3 - Serena gets the early break on court one. She could not take her first two opportunities, swiveling her hips into the shots and putting the ball into the net on both occasions. She took the third with a back hand down the line.

  13. 1-2 - Richard Williams seems to be doing a SuDuko puzzle at court side and having a tough time of it. On the court, Serena holds to 30.

  14. 1-1 - Both ladies hold their serves to start us off.

  15. - - Serena to get us under way.

  16. - - These two have met once before, with Serena taking the victory against Groth straight sets in Australia.

  5. No you couple of morons I do not watch the Williams. I­ would rather watch paint dry !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I hate­ them, but I do see other matches and catch up on­ results on PC. And "JUSTJOKEY" I am not a­ chap !!!!!!!!!!!!!

    All you Serena fans. I can't stand her---loudmouth.­ She is just a man with big boobs and an even bigger­ a**e. Her screaming has me turning over to any other­ channel. Her sister has the same effect. I wouldn't­ even notice if neither of them competed again.
