Live Comments

  1. 6-4 - Wozniacki is through to the third round with the minimum of fuss despatching Kirilenko at the first attempt with a backhand winner down the line that simply beats Kirilenko for pace

  2. 5-4 - Wozniacki holds to love after a series of forehand errors from Kirilenko and the Russian will have to serve to stay in the macth after the change of ends

  3. 4-4 - Kirilenko is really battled hard now and has done brilliantly well to mentally stick in this match as she saves another three break points before holding from deuce when Wozniacki hits a forehand just long

  4. 4-3 - So much better from Kirilenko as she breaks to 15 when Wozniacki slaps a forehand into the middle of the net. Kirilenko is timing the ball so much better now and is able to deal with the pace of the ball so much better than she was

  5. 4-2 - Kirilenko holds again firing down an agressive forehand smash to seal the game to love and at least salvage some pride from this clash

  6. 4-1 - Just the slightest glimpse of hope for Kirilenko as she earns herself her first break point of the match. But Wozniacki quickly closes the door on the Russian and holds to leave herself potentially just two games from the third round

  7. 3-1 - KIRILENKO HOLDS! Wozniacki misses a forehand volley by an absolute mile and can afford to grin about it and much to the delight of the crowd Kirilenko gets a game in this clash. The Russian acknowledges the crowd with a raised fist but she's not really in the mood to smile about it yet!

  8. 3-0 - Wozniacki's error count is actually pretty high for someone who is yet to drop a game - she's hit 11 unforced errors so far but then she's hit 15 winners as well so you can't really complain about that

  9. 2-0 - Kirilenko has a couple of chances to get on the board early in the second set but both times hits into the net and Wozniacki breaks again when the Russian pushes a forehand wide across court

  10. 1-0 - Wozniacki simply has too much power and depth for Kirilenko as she holds for the opening game of the second set with a forehand winner. She even threw a double fault into that game but still Kirilenko could not capitalise on any disruption to Wozniacki's rhythm

  11. 6-0 - Sure enough, Wozniacki makes light work of the Kirilenko serve once again and seals the set with ease in just 27 minutes

  12. 5-0 - Wozniacki races through another service game to cement the double break and if Kirileko can't come up with something pretty quickly, she is looking at a bagel opening set

  13. 4-0 - An inside out cross court forehand winner from Wozniacki seals the double break and this is an absolute masterclass so far from the Dane. Kirilenko is simply being blown away

  14. 3-0 - Wozniacki blisters through another service game to hold and cement the early break

  15. 2-0 - Wozniacki grabs an early break and she looks in much better form than in the first round when she dropped the first set to Japanese veteran Kimiko Date Krumm

  16. 1-0 - A solid hold to open the clash from the Dane, who is a former junior champion at Wimbledon and also won Eastbourne last week

  17. 0-0 - Ok, we are ready to go and it will be Wozniacki to get the clash underway

  18. 18:07 - These two have met each other just the once before with Wozniacki triumphing in straight sets on the grass at Indian Wells last year

  19. 16:04 - Hello and welcome to this second round clash between Danish ninth seed Caroline Wozniacki and Russia Maria Kirilenko
