6-3 -
Kuznetsova wraps up a very easy win after exactly 60 minutes when Parmentier hits wide. That was very, very comfortable for the Russian fifth seed who is clearly still on a high after lifting her first French Open title earlier this month
5-3 - A love service hold from Kuznetsova now leaves her just the one game away from the win. That was a poor game from Parmentier, who was beginning to show some promising signs on Kuznetsova's last service game
4-3 - A key hold for Parmentier as she stops Kuznetsova from being in a position to serve out the match. Still another service hold for the Russian fifth seed and Parmentier will have to serve to stay in it
4-2 - Kuznetsova holds to cement the break and leave herself just two games away from the third round where she would face the winner between Patricia Mayr and Sabine Lisicki. Click here to see the women's draw in full
3-2 -
Kuznetsova grabs the second set break when Parmentier slaps a forehand into the net and surely this match is as good as over now
2-2 - A few loose shots from Kuznetsova now as Parmentier pushes her to deuce - although it is fairly inevitable when you are cruising along as easily as the Russian was, to lose a spot of concentration slightly. Still Kuznetsova holds when Parmentier sends a forehand just long
1-2 - Another decent service hold from Parmentier, who really needs to stick with Kuznetsova in the early stages of this set. It really is the Frenchwoman's only hope as she has taken just three points of the Kuznetsova serve so far!
1-1 - Another very easy service game from Kuznetsova as she again drops just the one point - and that, to be fair, wasn't due to anything Parmentier came up with so much as a double fault!
0-1 - Parmentier doubles her output in this match, getting the second set underway with a service hold, as a couple of Kuznetsova forehands go astray
6-1 -
Ouch! A love service game to seal the set for Kuznetsova after just 25 minutes and this match may well not last very long at all. Kuznetsova dropped just two points on serve in that first set
5-1 -
Kuznetsova produces an inch-perfect backhand up the line, albeit a little short had Parmentier seen it coming, and that seals a second break which will leave the Russian serving for the set
4-1 - Kuznetsova's looks pretty confident mixing it up a little today as she comes into the net for a forehand volley passing shot and a spot of serve and volley to hold once again
3-1 - Much better from the Frenchwoman as she gets herself on the scoreboard with a love service game when Kuznetsova hits long. It keeps the deficit to just the one break
3-0 - Another very cruisey service game for Kuznetsova as she drops just the one point on her way to cementing the early break. Kuznetsova often moves through the draw with very little fanfare, compared with the likes of say the Williams sisters, Dinara Safina or Maria Sharapova, and that will be just the way that the Russian likes it
2-0 -
Parmentier has some blistering ground-strokes of her own but so far Kuznetsova seems equal to the task and smacks a forehand across court as an inch-perfect passing shot before eventually going on to break when Parmentier lofts a forehand long after a protracted game
1-0 - A very confident start from Kuznetsova as she batters a change of direction forehand across court into the sideline to hold to love
0-0 -
Righto then, we are ready to get underway on court three and it will be Kuznetsova to serve first
12:09 -
Kuznetsova on the other hand has reached the quarter-finals three times at Wimbledon - losing in 2003 to Justine Henin, losing in 2005 to Lindsay Davenport and losing in 2007 to Venus Williams
12:06 -
These two have never met each other before but it should be a fairly straightforward clash for the fifth seed as Parmentier is ranked only 78th in the world and this is only her second Wimbledon - she lost to Australia's Casey Dellacqua last year in the second round
11:58 - Hello and welcome to this second round clash between French Open champion Svetlana Kuznetsova and France's Pauline Parmentier
