2-5 -

2-3 -

Radwanska slices into the net to concede another break point, but saves it well by sending Venus out wide with a backhand. After a chance to hold goes begging, Radwanska is made to pay when her net volley doesn't beat Venus, who wins another break point. Venus then completes the break with another emphatic string of volleys at the net!
2-2 - A sensational late change of direction from Radwanska sees her catch Venus's drop shot and lift it over her. that is a highlight of the match, but then she lets herself down by serving up her second double fault. Venus steps up to attack the second serve and beats Radwanska into submission with volleys at the net.
2-2 - Radwanska is beginning to get rallies going on the Venus serve now, but it's still the defending champion coming out on top, and she holds to 15 to level the set.
2-1 -
Venus comes fighting right back, and Radwanska's first double fault give her opponent two break points. Venus hits a forehand long to spurn the first chance, but she volleys at the net to take the second and break right back!
2-0 -
Venus has really lost her focus at the moment... A double fault at 0-40 sees Agnieszka Radwanska secure a break to love that would have been inconcievable just 10 minutes ago!
1-0 - Just as Radwanska challenged the last point of the last set, Venus challenges an out call on the first point in this. Hawkeye goes Radwanska's way, and the Pole can't help but crack a little smile. Venus exacts revenge on the next point by hammering a two-hander right at her opponent! Venus clearly looks annoyed, and she fires into the net and Radwanska holds.
1-6 -
Radwanska is rooted to the spot as a Venus ace sets up two set points. As the American fires another ace past her, Radwanska challenges it, but hawkeye confirms what we all knew already, that Venus Williams has cruised to take the first set!
1-5 - Williams gets up to 15-30 befire an overhit forehand levels things up. Radwanska then hits a forehand wide to give Venus a break point, but Williams then sees a backhand drop just out for deuce. Venus hits the net and the crowd give Radwanska some encouraging applause, but her attempted winner down the line hits the net. At deuce once more, Venus hits a winner just too long and this time Radwanska holds!
- - The winner of this match - whoever that may be - will face either world number one Dinara Safina or Sabine Lisicki in the semi-final. Find out how those two are getting on here.
0-5 - Venus thunders a serve-volley combo past Radwanska for 30-0 before the Pole flukes a point from a clip of the net. Williams barely seems to notice, and hammers another ace to seal the game.
0-4 -
An ace gets Radwanska's second service game to a much better start than her first, but Venus drills a couple of backhands past her to go 15-30 up. Radwanska hits the net and Venus has three break points, but she only needs one as a fearsome forehand return sends her into a 4-0 lead!
0-3 - A barrage of solid serves and two-handers from Venus see her hold to love once more.
0-2 -
After a couple of unforced errors - hitting the net and than loosely firing a forehand wide - Radwanska recovers to eventually get to deuce. Venus earns a break point, but then returns into the net. She wins another but Radwanska ends a great rally with a nonchalant drop shot at the net. Venus eventually breaks at the third attempt.
0-1 - The five-times champion at SW19 cruises through her opening service game.
- - Venus will open serve...
- - Standing in her way is Venus Willams, going for her third consecutive Wimbledon singles title, and the American is yet to drop a set this year after cruising past Stefanie Vogele Kateryna Bondarenko and Carla Suarez Navarro, before Ana Ivanovic had to pull out of their fourth round match yesterday. i can't wait too see Venus Hammering Safina in the semi's
the day after tomarrow,..!!
I think Venus is great and she is going to win Wimbledon for a six time Serena is good too but their is only one queen of grass and that is Venus.
I can feel an all Williams final.
I think Venus is Tall, Sexy, Strong and Gorgeous. Each to their own Marcus. By the way would you consider your self Good Looking? I am sure there are people who would think you're a Minger. But as I said each to there own.
These two women should always be racked 1 and 2 they play their best here Depending on who won the previous year.
In 2010 Radwanska will win with Serena Williams!!!! You'll see!!! :) Agnieszka nie martw sie, za rok wygrasz i pokazesz ze jestes najlepsza!!! Wierzymy w ciebie i jestesmy dumni ze mamay taka swietna tenisistke jak ty!!! :) Aga will be THE BEST in next year!!!! :) :) :)
venus is radiant with grace and elegance, almost like a gazelle, serena is the sexy one...........pretty too........yummy!
game over.Venus won 6-1 6-2
Womens tennis is soooooooooooooo boring.
I had no doubt she was going to win. Vee is the queen of Wimbledom.
So Venus is ugly.............???? and the upshot of the beauties is what?? where are they now??? and their beauty??/ dont hate people dont hate..........appreciate good game when you see it!!!
Well done Venus now bring on the next culprit!!! haa I just love the William Sisters!!
With that force I don't think anyone can stop her, now I know why she does not play well in other tournaments, she is just reserving her strenght for this one and the way it is going she can continue to come to Wembledon to win this trophy in the next five years I don't see any contender anywhere except maybe serena
you and your mother ugly
When people say the Williams' sisters are ugly, that is the only way they can console themselves.Do they have any other thing to say? It's not hatred my friends. These people are frustrated.
It is hard to beat the champ in his/her own house. Venus truly is the queen of the grass.
It aint called the Venus Water Dish for nothing lol
Why Radwanska must always play in quaterfinal with Serena or Venus Williams?????????? IT'S NOT FAIR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :( :( :(
heh heh heh heh. Ugly but a winner. thats ALL what matters @ the end of the day
thank you adies and gentlemen, we meet at the semi's
