I have seen lot of comments on ranking points. On the basis of what I believe is likely, come July end, Federer and Murray will be no 1 and 2, or 2 and 1, Nadal 3. Let me explain. Nadal won Wimbledon and Canada last year in July. So out of his current 12735 points, 3000 comes off, leaving him with 9735. Given his current injury, he is likely to add little to this. At best he will be around 10000 points. Federer is now 10620 points. You take out 1400 for last year wimbledon final and 10 for R32 of canada, it is 9210. Even if he reaches the finals of Wimbledon and say reaches the semi of Canada, it will be 9210 plus 1400 plus 450, total 11060. Murray currently 9230. KNock off 500 + 450 as Semifinalist last year in Wimbledon and Canada, net 8280. This year's Wimbledon final and Canada semi final will add 1400 and 450, total 11130. Murray and Federer are so close on this basis that either of them winning Wimbledon will clearly leave that person at the top.
goooooooooooooooooooooo Federer gooooooooooooo this is your time and you are the best....... we are raying for you all the time. show for the people that you are the No. 1 Rog. Fedrr............
The way the points works is this: at the beginning of each tournament the points earned last year are deducted (so Rafa loses 2000 and Roger loses 1400) and the points earned this year are added at the end. So, if Roger wins his total will increase by 600. Rafa's goes down by 2000 regardless. Which would indeed make Rog No 1 again.
In the tune of the song `It's Impossible'... it's impossible really for Roger to leave the court of Wimbledon without his 15th Grandslam trophy. and yet impossible for him to go down from being the Number 1. Congrats Roger!wise and the best ever.
the Fed is simply awesome! next! bring it on.....Ivo was a real threat but trust the Fed to show his class at every level n challenge. I'm surely enjoying this all the way from Ghana. go Roger!!!!!!!!!
I said it, I said it, and I said it Karlovic will be so easy to beat than Vardasco but Federer haters said no Karlovic will beat Federer that he has done it, I think this match was the most easiest match for federer, how can you play you be a tennis player and all you know is your service and when it is collected you run to the middle of the court as if you know how to volley, Karlovic does not even know how to volley he could not even rally the ball for just ten seconds, I said it Verdasco would have played a more competitive tennis than Karlovic, all Federer did was entertain the crowd if he wanted to pick Karlovic service and beat him before the tie break he would have done it but it was just entertainment. at a time I had to switch to watch the Hass and Djokovic match because Karlovic made the game look so easy fr Federer.
I'm a Murray fan....but I think maybe he'll have to wait a short while for a slam even if he wins the quarter and semi. Clinical work from Federer and if he carries on, maybe Murray's occasional lapses will be his downfall this year....
OMG my darling Roger is BACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He's got the form back, and has acquired a certain level of grace that makes him breathtaking to watch in court! GO GO GO!!!

The Fed means BUSINESS!! Pray for Andy!

it's a shame from this current state of men's tennis. Dominant Roger sails through as usual. Most boring personality to watch
