  1. 6-4 - THE WILLIAMS SISTERS RULE WIMBLEDON Serena serves, Venus volleys. Serena serves, Venus volleys. That brings up 30-0 but the Aussies hit back to 30-30. Massive ace from Serena earns the sisters a second match point but Serena fires into the net and we are at deuce. Crushing forehand from Serena is too much for Stosur and we have match point number three - SHE SEALS IT WITH AN ACE. Serena and Venus are the Wimbledon champions.

  2. 5-4 - A stunning shot from Serena brings up the first championship point of the match. Stosur's serve stands up to the test though and they are going to make Serena serve it out.

  3. 5-3 - Venus holds to 15 - great serving and then it was all about her forehand in the final point of the game.

  4. 4-3 - THE SISTERS BREAK. A double fault from Stosur brought up the break point and then Serena with a bit of a miss hit at net but it goes over Stosur's head and lands in.

  5. 3-3 - Big serving from Serena ensures no drama on the Williams sisters serve. 3-3 - next break of serve will be key - if the Williams sister can get it this could end soon.

  6. 2-3 - The Aussies are volleying so well - Stubbs with a lovely one wraps up a hold to 30.

  7. 2-2 - Venus holds to 15 to put the pressure right back on the Australians.

  8. 1-2 - Massive hold from Stubbs. The Australians needed to produce all sort of heroics to save that game. Three break points saved. The highlight was a stunning point that Stubbs kept alive with a little volley through the legs and Stosur won it with a little sliced drop volley.

  9. 1-1 - Venus holds to 30 but the sisters are not playing their best. Serena in particular looks a little off.

  10. 0-1 - Stosur comes back from 15-30 down to hold to 30. She successfully challenges a Serena return long on the final point.

  11. 7-6 - The Williams sisters take the set! A great pass by Venus brings up three set points and Serena finishes off the second of those at the net.

  12. 6-6 - (4-2) The sisters are edging the breaker at the moment - they lead 4-2 at the changeover.

  13. 6-6 - A double fault from Renee Stubbs gives up a set point but she shows great character to serve out the game and send us to a tie-break.

  14. 6-5 - Serena produces a double fault to make it 40-30 on her serve but then follows it with an ace to seal the game.

  15. 5-5 - Stosur holds without too much trouble. They look very strong on the Stosur serve because Stubbs is volleying very well.

  16. 5-4 - Serena's volleying is a little off at the moment but Venus holds despite going to deuce. Serena smashes a ball into Stubbs to win the game and apologises to the Australian.

  17. 4-4 - The Williams sisters get all over the Stubbs serve right from the off and break to love - we are back on serve.

  18. 3-4 - After being broken in her opening service game - Serena now holds to love as the new singles champion feels her way into this match.

  19. 2-4 - Stosur holds to 30 - Stubbs is polishing off some nice volleys when her team-mate gets her first serves in.

  20. 2-3 - Venus holds again to 15. You get the feeling that while they are a break down if the Williams sisters focus the mind they could power their way to victory.

  21. 1-3 - Stubbs holds to 30 as again Venus tries to do too much with an ambitious and overcooked forehand return.

  22. 1-2 - SERENA IS BROKEN - the Williams sister try and overpower the Aussies a little too much and it leads to errors. A Serena lob that goes long sees them broken to 15.

  23. 1-1 - Stosur serve and a Stubbs volley levels the match as the Australians get on the board.

  24. 1-0 - Well the Australian pair do manage to get to deuce but Venus digs out the hold.

  26. - - Can the Williams sisters cement their domination of this year's Wimbledon? Australian pair Samantha Stosur and Rennae Stubbs will look to stop them in the women's doubles - coming right up.
