NISHIKORI 3-6 1-6 6-4 6-1 6-1 – GAME, SET & MATCH – Ebden just completely ran out of steam in that match, not totally surprisingly considering five-set matches are not common place for him. And Nishikori took advantage, taking the final set for the loss of just the one game again. He got a little lucky there, a more experienced player would not have let him back into that one.

NISHIKORI 3-6 1-6 4-6 1-6 – SET – Ebden’s game is beginning to disintegrate now as Nishikori races through the fourth set for the loss of just the one game. The Japanese 24th seed has called for the trainer once again to have treatment to blisters on the ball of his right foot and that will be a long break during the change of ends

NISHIKORI 3-6 1-6 6-4 - SET - Time for Nishikori to fight back against Ebden on Margaret Court Arena. The Japanese takes the third and that could signal a shift in the momentum of this match.

NISHIKORI 3-6 1-6 - SET - Another upset in the offing on Margaret Court Arena as local boy Peter Ebden takes a second set off 24th seed Kei Nishikori! Wow. Sensational stuff.
