RADWANSKA 6-0 6-2- GAME, SET & MATCH - Watson saves a first match point by doing incredibly well with a drop shot, dinking it back over the net to beat the rapidly approaching Radwanska with the angle but a forehand into the net hands the Pole a second chance and this time she gets it when Watson goes for too much with an off-forehand wide across court
- - RADWANSKA 6-0 5-2 - Radwanska now just the one game away from the match as she holds by working her way up to the net and finding a forehand winner down the line. Watson has simply been over-powered on Centre Court today
- - RADWANSKA 6-0 4-1 - Watson still just the one break down in this second set but Radwanska races through another service hold to maintain her lead
- - RADWANSKA 6-0 3-1 - A backhand winner down the line off a shorter ball is sandwiched by couple of great serves that Radwanska cannot return in play to bring up three game points for Watson. But only the one is needed as another serve goes into the body of the Pole and she returns into the net and Watson holds with a yell of "come on"
- - RADWANSKA 6-0 3-0 - Watson does just enough with a backhand passing shot attempt, as Radwanska hits her backhand return into the net, to bring up a break back point. The chance goes begging though with a forehand wide across court and the Pole goes on to hold, at the second attempt, when Watson goes for too much with an off-forehand volley wide
- -
RADWANSKA 6-0 2-0 - BREAK - A backhand winner down the line from Watson draws her level at 30-30 but Radwanska sneaks ahead once again before a double fault from the Brit hands Radwanska yet another break
- - RADWANSKA 6-0 1-0 - Watson does well to get up to a forehand volley only to put the relatively straight-forward shot into the net, indecision as to what to do with the ball costing the Brit there. It hands Radwanska a game point and the Pole is quick to take advantage, drawing Watson up to the net before lobbing her
- -
RADWANSKA 6-0 - SET - Radwanska earns herself three set points with a forehand volley back behind Watson, who is trying to get back to the T. And the Pole needs just the one, wrapping up the set in 24 minutes with a backhand winner. Ouch!
- - RADWANSKA 5-0 - Watson gives herself a bit of a talking to after hitting a forehand long and failing to set up a break back point. It seems to work too as she does get the chance to break a couple of points later after finding a forehand winner across court. But Radwanska saves it before going on to hold with a when Watson finds herself struggling with the power once again and hits long
- -
RADWANSKA 4-0 - BREAK - After a promising opening game, things have got away from Watson quickly as Radwanska breaks for a second time with ease when the Brit hits a forehand long down the centre of the court
- - RADWANSKA 3-0 - Much much more comfortable from Radwanska as she holds to love to consolidate the break, crouching down super low to a backhand on the service line and firing the winner back to the line. Radwanska has too much power for Watson so far
- -
RADWANSKA 2-0 - BREAK - A couple of errors from Watson hand Radwanska an early 0-30 lead against the Watson serve before an ace sees the Brit get off the mark behind her serve. But a backhand into the net hands Radwanska two early break points and only one is needed as a cross court forehand also lands in the net from the Brit
- - RADWANSKA 1-0 - Brilliant from Watson, who is clearly not letting the nerves she must have overpower her, as she steps up to drill a forehand winner on to the baseline to go 15-30 up early on the Radwanska. A forehand that beats Watson for pace and an ace sees the Pole set up a game point before a forehand passing shot pulls Watson level at deuce. She also denies Radwanska on a game point with a forehand winner but the Pole goes on to hold at the second attempt. Good start from Watson
- - The roof is still shut on Centre Court, by the way, even though it is currently pretty sunny outside. But the rain is scheduled to return later in the day and the only explanation is that organisers don't want any delays this afternoon

The ever-affable Heather Watson is all smiles as she is greeted by a roar from the Centre Court crowd as she walks out ahead of Agnieszka Radwanska.
