1-3 - GAME, SET AND MATCH DJOKOVIC! Wawrinka has seen enough. Played on for one more game, but is feeling the stress and the strains. Looks to be ill and has decided to call it a day. Djokovic will meet Roddick or Del Potro in the last eight.
1-2 - BREAK DJOKOVIC! Wawrinka is calling for a trainer here. He doesn't look in great shape mentally or physically as he surrenders serve again in this third set. Looks like this match is ready to breath its final moments.
1-1 - Djokovic levels at 1-1 in the second game of the third set. Some fine movement by the world number two. This match is heading for a rapid conclusion one suspects.
1-0 - WAWRINKA 1-0 - A hold for the Swiss number two in the opening game of the third set which is like money in the bank at the moment with Wawrinka's serve looking vulnerable every time he tosses the ball in the air.
1-6 - SET DJOKOVIC 6-1 - Wawrinka ends the game by sending a forehand wide at the net. Loses the game to love and is almost wiped out in the set. A long, long way back from here. Especially when Djokovic is standing on the other side of the net.
1-5 - DJOKOVIC 5-1 - Wawrinka manages to stave off the break by holding serve, but it looks to be a hopeless task for him in this set. The body language is not overly impressive.
0-5 - A 5-0 lead now for Djokovic and a sixth straight game. This second set all over bar the shouting it must be said. Wawrinka really needs to get a grip on his emotions here.
0-4 - BREAK DJOKOVIC! Five games on the trot now for Djokovic. Wawrinka's game is falling apart and so has his racket as he takes out his frustration by walloping it off the ground. Difficult to see how he is going to turn this match around.
0-3 - DJOKOVIC 3-0 - Djokovic in danger of being broken again in this match, but he squares himself up when the score reaches deuce. Djokovic looks a class above his opponent. He suddenly leads 3-0 in the second set.
0-2 - BREAK DJOKOVIC! Wawrinka making some obvious mistakes as he is broken for a fourth time in the match. Not really providing enough resistance as the world number two moves a set and two games up in less than one hour on court.
0-1 - DJOKOVIC 1-0 - Another hold for Djokovic at the outset of the second set. All starting to come together here for Djoker, who is making less unforced errors on the big points than his opponent.
4-6 - SET DJOKOVIC 6-4! Really disappointing stuff from Wawrinka as he is broken for a third time in the set to fall one set down in the match. Threw in one serve there of 134 mph, but not enough of them. And Djokovic is one set to the good in this contest. Five breaks of serve in the set, but Djokovic on the right side of them.
4-5 - BREAK WAWRINKA! Wawrinka back to 4-5 behind in this opening set. Unusual to see Djokovic broken twice in the opening set of a match. Games on serve again. Now Wawrinka must hold to further his ambition in this first set.
3-5 - DJOKOVIC 5-3 - Still very sparsely populated on the Louis Armstrong Court to watch this match. Don't know if the rain has deterred folk from turning up to see this contest. Anyway, it was a decent hold by the big Swiss man. He trails 5-3. Djokovic will serve for the first set.
2-5 - DJOKOVIC 5-2 - Djokovic winning more than 52% of his shots when the rallies go longer than three strokes which has given him the platform to move within one game of the opening set. A 5-2 lead.
2-4 - BREAK DJOKOVIC 4-2! Djokovic shows his class to respond to being broken by breaking right back. Impressive stuff by the Serbian player as he pounces on a few short balls by his opponent to break for a second time in the set.
2-3 - BREAK WAWRINKA! Djokovic running into a few problems of his own on serve, and is broken for the first time in this match. A slight turn up for the books. Neither man into their stride yet with Wawrinka throwing in seven errors compared to six by his opponent. Match back on serve.
1-3 - DJOKOVIC 3-1 - A love game from Wawrinka to open his account in this match. The Swiss player doesn't move as freely as Djokovic, but he certainly has the power to trouble the number two seed.
0-3 - DJOKOVIC 3-0 - A comfortable hold for the Serbian player as he moves 3-0 clear of his opponent upon their resumption. Big asks for Wawrinka in this match, but holding serve here would help his hopes.
0-0 - Djokovic to serve then in the opening game of the match.
