  2. Kerber proved herself to be a quitter today - what a true example of sportsmanship - NOT! If Sharapova were in her shoes, she would have played to the end of the match. Just goes to show you one of these ladies is a class act, and the other one still has a lot of growing up to do!

  3. LOve Kerbe but I must say I'm very disappointed in her behaviour. She only quit because she couln't stand the humiliation . I don't like so much sharapova but at least when she get humiliated she don't quit !!! Some measures need to be take, she should get a very big fine or be even be pulled out of the masters. She doesn't care about the fans, public, the tennis rules , or her opponent. This a shame , grow up lady!!

  5. my goodness. i spoke too soon. i thought kerber would put up a challenge, but it turned out that maria gave her a bagel, and kerber quit. well, maria, you're in the semifinal. congrats, but don't stop there. go on to the final. we will be cheering you on and praying that this title is yours.

  6. Kerber quit for no apparent reason for sure!! That is a shame!! Anyway Sharapova is in the semifinal ,so who cares :)))

  7. It's a great shame, shock and a huge disappointment that Kerber quit. I don't think there was something wrong with her physically. She emotionally just couldn't put up being systematically demolished and shred to pieces. This quit could subsequently affect her mentally. Will WTA authorities do something about a situation where a player quit for no apparent reason? I have always say Kerber is a good player and in the league of A Rad, Wozi and Errani, she stands the chance of wining a major because of her offensive and aggressive style of play, but I just can't figure out why she is torn apart in some matches. Perhaps, the lack of supreme, and brute force and power which are the hallmarks of Serena and Masha, with the latter just displayed forcing the Kerber to quit midstream, is the reason.

  8. maria, we know you can win this match. kerber gave you a difficult time the last time you faced each other, but you were tougher and won the match. you can beat her again. if you can avoid going into a decider by getting the match in straight sets, that would be better. come on, maria. you can do it!

C'mon Kerber! U can beat her she won the last game but the opponent was rank 90! she can only moan and groan is not sleeping room, we knows it's weakness and her own defense :)
