Some on the inane remarks left on here have nothing at all to do with tennis!! I suggest to those of us who appreciate the game, just thumb them down and ignore their silly remarks!!
This is a match that More(Murray) could have won. Is this the beginning of a Djoko vs More rivalry?
Will the Djoko vs More(Murray) rivalry replace the Nadal vs Federer rivalry? Or if Nadal comes back to the seen, will we have a Nadal vs Djoko or Nadal vs More rivalry?
Guys, on this forum we have a lot of constructive and critical comments about the game today. It was fantastic entertainment overall. We have a few nobodies with names like BOB and TURD. Ignore them. Don't even give them the pleasure of being acknowledged. Remember, that if they actually had become famous and were in the public eye, they would have been hauled up for racism. Fortunately they are nobodies so better to ignore them.
well done andy, you are still the champ in our eyes.keep going.from a english man
Novak Djokovic's 10 finals 5 titles. The 2012 tennis season...God is fair. The top four players ,Novak Djokovic-Australian Open ,Rafael Nadal-French Open ,Roger Federer-Wimbledon and Andy Murray-US Open.Congratulations on your Shanghai Rolex Masters title.
I watched this match with friends from Northern ireland and everyone of them was yelling for Andy, they cannot understand the attitude of the English, who had a wimp of a player called tiger tim lol - hard luck Andy, but you can be proud of your year so far - don't think this will worry you too much. Congrats to Novak though, mentally he is very strong, and that's what carried him through. The first set was simply amazing tennis.
Gold and Silver medals, GS winner, No 3 in the WORLD, 28 million in the bank, a beautiful g/friend..........hmmm some loser!!!
I'm allowd to have my views - he's Scottish which to me means he doesn't have brain - he is a one slam wonder - FACT
Shaun (Comment 184) He'll always be Scottish, Shaun. But now he's a Scottish Grand Slam winner!
Turd - another example of how the low-lives of the system seem to have this natural aptitude to choose a moniker that exactly suits their intelligence level!
Murray wouldn't be able to beat the top 5 women - that's how bad he is
On a separate point, isn't there usually some sort of penalty for racquet abuse? Seems Djokovic threw a woobly towards the end of the first set, totally smashes up his racquet, and the match continues as though nothing has happened. Maybe they don't have that rule in China! I don't think it would have made any difference to the match as a whole, but it's interesting to note that the 'Greatest Tennis player in the World' (sic) is not averse to tantrums!
Wonder what people like Bob and Turd have ever achieved in their lives. Possibly learning to log into internet forums was right up there in their lifetime goals.
Great match both played well and you cant win them all but there will lots more great matches to win
Sorry Andy, you are possibly now the best overall tennis player in the world but if you cant do something as simple as get a good first serve in then you are not going to be up challenging for world number one and could in fact start slipping. Also not having the tenacity to convert at least one of six championship points is more than just bad luck. Still a long way to go.
hard luck tim
Murray a flash in the pan - he really is an embarassment to British sport
Why only three sets? This is girls tennis!!!!
what a match Andy played so proud
