This one is a sliced forehand drop shot and doesn't clear the net, in fact it struggles to even reach the net. Federer holds to 15 to consolidate the break and it's a long way back for Murray now

A poor drop shot attempt from Murray at 40-0, which Federer gets up to easily before going on to find a winner, haunts the Brit as he quickly finds himself staring at a break point after a backhand into the net. AND FEDERER DOES BREAK! Another lengthy rally ends with Murray hitting into the net and the world number two finds himself a set and a break down

There's real tension in the arena now. And Fed does take the chance, pulling Murray wide and drawing the error - a forehand into the net

A brilliant sliced backhand approach shot from Murray followed by an easy backhand volley brings up game point. A huge first serve that Fed can only return into the net gets him out of that spot of bother before a vicious backhand across court has enough pace to draw the error from Federer. And that's enough to set him on the way to the hold, which he gets when Fed runs around the ball and sends a forehand wide into the tramlines

  1. Roger is a great player but please dont make him out to­ be a saint! Ive seen Roger nreak rackets and he even­ nce told Novak's parents to "shut up".­ Under given circumsatnces they can ALL lose their­ temper!

He is not and­ will never sbe a good ambassador for the sport - all­ the other top players are. Lendle needs to sort him­ out.   3. What were the O2 crowd thinking about. Clapping­ Andy's mistakes, not getting behind him. If people­ didnt know, they would never know that it was a British­ player, an olympic gold medalist to boot, playing in a­ British venue. How fickle the British people are; I am­ one and Im so disappointed and it must have­ disappointed Andy at how low key the 'support'­ was.

Federer is just the best....,,,,he know what to do in­ days like this, when people are righting him off, that­ the time he will say I am the king of tennis, Yes i am­ 31 but I can play with the 20s.....and come on top.­ Come on.....u have to love this guy and to see the­ support......,,4 Federer at the O2 just tel u that he­ is the best and tennis fans love him.
