Robert Louis-Dreyfus, the main shareholder in French side Marseille, has died. The 63-year-old businessman and former owner of sportswear maker Adidas took control of Marseille in 1997 and according to French media reports, invested more than £200 million in the club.
Former NFL quarterback Steve McNair found dead in Nashville of a gunshot wound in an apparent murder-suicide, according to local media reports. The media reports said a female body was also found. The Nashville Police Department had no comment but said a statement on McNair would be issued.
