The last two years I did not watch the non event that­ used to be the Tour because even the best riders were­ mediocre when compared with Lance. Who can forget how­ he destroyed Marco Pantani in the mountains? He is­ simply the greatest cyclist that I had ever seen and no­ matter what they say publicly, the organizers can only­ be thankful at his return. Can you imagine, in any­ other sport, say the 100metres, or the marathon, an­ athlete destroying the field year after year for 7­ years in a row? None. Then he comes back after what,­ three years? and he is all the press talks about? None.­ This is greatness, win or lose this year.
