Very impressive and he looks very powerful and explosive with a nice high cadence and smooth rhythm. Genetically the Japanese seem to be able to produce elite sprinters and long distance runners Would like to see this man over 200m.
This Japanese is certainly nippy.
No, they didn't false start. Light travels faster than sound.
The next Usain Bolt? With a time of 10.19 assisted by a following breeze of 0.5m/s ...well, I'm not so sure about that myself. How old is he - 19 yrs or 13 yrs? There is a big difference in terms of early development. Judging by the video images I think he looks closer to 19 yrs than he does 13 yrs. It's obviously a great time for any teen to sprint but hardly phenomenal for a one a little longer in the tooth. As good a prospect as Britain's Adam Gemili clearly appears to be, he's never been likened to "...the next Usain Bolt", despite the fact he ran 10.06 secs in his Olympic semi at the age of 19 yrs. I don't mean to sound too sarcastic but with whom or with what should we compare Gemili if we should consider the Japanese lad as the next Bolt - the second coming of Christ, perhaps?
Wait a minute- or at least part of a second. Unless the sound is not in synch with the picture they took off BEFORE the gun !!!!
