How did Djokovic recover so well for the fourth set it was amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
What Energy substance was he taking hiding under his towels, can I get some .
No comment from anybody about this, am I on my own.
yes Andy, is already good, and now with Lendl, he will improve
too early to judge the effect of Ivan
wait another few tournaments
Lendl was one of the best ever,
will Andy follow his advice
we will see
It appears AM is even more focussed this season. All top sportsmen work extremely hard to stay on top. Every player has his 2 hours of glory; the tipping point towards a GS. AM may get his against ND.in this AO. Remember Athur Ashe/Rod Laver in Wimbledon?
andy has the game to really get at nole s game a bit the way rafa has it with fed and nole had it with rafa last season, the same goes weirdly enough for andy over nole, they just havent met that often at this level. seeing as it is also a semi and not a final there is less pressure for andy, nole on the other hand has heaps of pressure the question is can he master it, i think he probably can seeing as his game is so souvereign these days but will he on the day ? and against his problem player and good friend backed by lendl i think it may well be andys to win. i predict a win for andy, a final between rafa and nole was an early prediction of mine, one half is there now for muzza also to make it in the final. go andy
Let's be realistic, how we can know how much Andy improved ,whilst he hasn't had any real test on this tournament. He did not play against any real top 10 guy, in fact easy draw. Now,he is going to face the best one. In other hand ,Ivan Lendl is so short period with Andy that is impossible to make such big changes in his game. I think,Andy is losing this match but he will play very tough. If Lendl is right coach for him,the best results will come in the midlle of year around Wimblledon.
vulkersund@ comment 20 .. i agree Djokovic will try not to allow Murray to play his game ,but if you watch again ,you will see the changes are mainly at the start of points ,nothing anyone can do about that
@pudeetat
he'll retire like he retired against federer in us open last year :D
Oh yes, Lendl has helped, otherwise Andy can never get this far this time around. If Andy beats Nole today, it's Lendl, but if he loses, it's Andy as his normal self.
Lot's of questions - is Lendl helping, will Andy win?Too early to say ask me in a few hours. Is Andy capable of beating Nole - absolutely. Is Nole capable of losing to Andy, yes. Andy is fitter and mentally stronger than he has even been and deserves a first Open. Here's to a good game and a Murray win.
Lendl can't turn Murray into a champion. No one and nothing can.
You can put wings on a pig, but you can't make it an eagle.
Maybe if Lendl gets to the pitch and they try together (2 against 1) :).
Dracula can only help Andy focus and keep his cool
finale before finale
If Murray wins the AO, Lendl will definitely have helped him. If he loses, it becomes an open question! He certainly needs to fight to the last point and not let the inevitable pressure put him off his game.
English supporter of a great Scottish player.
Neither is Nole No 1 for nothing :).
Prosim, dobre polevka tennis Ceske Scots method le starburst dunk, naskladano.
All these comparisons and statistics are one thing, but you have to remember Andy hasn't been up against a tough opponent in this year's AO so far.
Now he's facing Djoković all of a sudden, and there's no way Novak will allow Andy to play 'his' game. So it's only relative in the end.
Still, I'm looking forward to seeing Andy Murray's facial expressions, emotional reactions, inevitable frustration and bitterness all the way through. He's very entertaining on the whole. :)
boki, - your spelling is atrocious but I hope you are right.
muzza is quality and can win title and he will win a title sooner rather than latter
Djokovic will bottle it and retire 'injured', as he always does, when he loses the first two sets.
