Juventus president Jean-Claude Blanc will open dialogue with Bayern Munich over a potential deal for French midfielder Franck Ribery.
Officials from both clubs will be present at the G14 meeting in Manchester this week, granting a perfect opportunity for the Italian club to speak to Bayern about the possibility of Ribery (pictured) moving to Turin.
Blanc will be aiming to sweeten the deal for Bayern president Karl-Heinz Rummenigge by using goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon as a bargaining tool, who the German side are rumoured to be interested in.
The old Lady face strong competition from Spanish giants Real Madrid, who have former French international Zinedine Zidane acting as negotiator in their pursuit of Ribery.
Juve have enough money to lure 26-year-old Ribery to Italy after their transfer budget received recent approval.
