Aidan O'Brien trained Camelot, ridden by his son Joseph, to glory in Epsom on Saturday but their mount Imperial Monarch finished outside of the places.

Instead it was 25/1 shot Saonois, trained by J-P Gauvin and ridden by Antoine Hamelin, who took the spoils.

Saint Baudolino (6/1) and Nutello (50/1) came next during a race when many of the horses encountered traffic problems.
