Record-breaking Baryla takes Q school lead
Canada's Chris Baryla struck a course-record 11-under 61 to earn a one-stroke lead after round two of the US Tour Qualifying Tournament.
The 28-year-old's bogey-free round on Orange County National's Crooked Cat course lifted him to a 10-under 133 for the first two rounds - a shot ahead of the US's Ben Martin, who sits alone in second place.
Kyle Stanley - leader after the first round - could only manage a one-under 70 on the Panther Lake course, dropping the 23-year-old to joint third place on an eight-under 135 overall.
Kang Sung-hoon's 67, also on Panther Lake, saw him draw level with Stanley who has been a regular on the Nationwide Tour this year, finishing 35 on the earnings list.
The top 25 finishers at Orange County National will receive US Tour cards for 2011.
