Robson and Watson lose in Indian Wells
It was a disappointing day for Britain at the Indian Wells qualifiers with both Laura Robson and Heather Watson crashing out.
Robson started well against 20th seeded Australian Casey Dellacqua as she went 3-1 up in the first set but then won only one game for the rest of the match to crash 6-3 6-1.
Robson's serve caused her problems throughout the contest as she fired nine break points and won only five of 23 points on her second serve.
Watson was more competitive against Canada's Aleksandra Wozniak but still lost 6-4 6-4 to the sixth seed.
Wozniak had four breaks to Watson's two despite Watson having more break points in the match (14 to 9)
