Djokovic glides into Belgrade quarters

Novak Djokovic continued to delight the home fans at the ATP Belgrade event by storming into the quarter-finals.

The Serb, who is the defending champion, enjoyed a trouble free 6-4 6-4 victory over Fabio Fognini and will next face wildcard entrant Filip Krajinovic in an all-Serbian last-eight contest.

Krajinovic, ranked 319 in the world, booked his spot by beating Horacio Zeballos 6-3 1-6 7-6 (5) in a match that lasted nearly two and a half hours.

Also into the last eight is second seed John Isner who stormed past France's Josselin Ouanna 6-2 6-4.

He will next play Richard Gasquet in the quarter-final after Gasquet disposed of Andreas Seppi 4-6 6-2 7-5.

In Friday's other quarter-final matches Serbia's Viktor Troicki meets Stanislas Warwinka while Sam Querrey is up against Igor Andreev.
