Maicon scored his first goal in a year as Internazionale overcame Chievo 2-0 to move to within two points of Serie A leaders Milan.

Chievo blew two clear-cut chances to level in the second period as Kevin Constant failed to connect with Cyril Thereau's pass on 61 minutes before the impressive Sergio Pellissier blasted over in space on 75 minutes from 12 yards when it looked easier to score.
