Scotland coach Andy Robinson has kept faith with the players who started in the Six Nations defeat by France for Saturday's clash against Wales.

Scrum-half Rory Lawson and wings Max Evans and Nikki Walker have all shaken off injuries sustained in the opener to keep their place in an unchanged starting XV.

Gloucester hooker Scott Lawson was named on the bench instead of the injured Dougie Hall and is the only change to the squad who were beaten 34-21 in Paris.

"We were disappointed as players and management that we did not start the championship with a win against France," said Robinson, who agreed a new long-term contract on Wednesday.

"We are determined to put that right with an improved performance against Wales.

"Wales showed again last weekend that they are combative and skilful and play for the full 80 minutes and we know we have to be more accurate and ruthless this weekend."

Scotland came into the tournament with high hopes of a positive campaign after two impressive Test victories over Argentina in June, followed by a win over world champions South Africa in November.

But despite scoring three tries at the Stade de France, they were comfortably beaten by the Six Nations champions.

Captain Alastair Kellock will lead out the team for the first time at Murrayfield against a Wales side who also lost their Six Nations curtain-raiser 26-19 to England in Cardiff.

"We know from the tremendous support we received during the autumn that the crowd have a part to play on days that the whole nation can reflect on with pride," Robinson added.
