Leipheimer hangs on for Utah win
Levi Leipheimer (Radioshack) survived an onslaught from Sergio Henao (Gobernacion de Antioquia) in the fifth and final stage to hang on and defend his Tour of Utah title.
On a mountainous final stage, Henao's team launched a number of attacks as they tried to help Henao get back the 23 seconds he needed to overtake Leipheimer.
The Colombian managed to blow everyone away but Leipheimer, and he had to settle for winning the stage as Leipheimer stuck to his wheel right up to the finish at the Snowbird Ski resort to take the overall victory.
Leipheimer's efforts also saw him win the king of the mountains competition as he overtook Rubens Bertogliati (Team Type 1-Sanofi).
Roman Van Uden (PureBlack) won the sprint competition, while Cristian Montoya (Gobernacion de Antioquia) won the blue jersey for the best young rider.
Leipheimer's team-mate Janez Brajkovic finished both third in the stage and in General Classification.
