Chelsea manager Carlo Ancelotti admitted the second half was 'difficult' in their 4-1 Champions League Group F win at MSK Zilina.

Goals from Nicolas Anelka (2), Michael Essien and Daniel Sturridge gave the Blues a comfortable victory, stretching their winning streak to five in five since the start of the Premier League season.

But they were stretched at times, with the hosts guilty of wasting good chances in the second half.

"It was very good, the first half was fantastic, we played very well," Chelsea coach Carlo Ancelotti told Sky Sports.

"The second half was different but we had good control of the game. We are doing very well at the moment, there is a good atmosphere

"If I have to judge the performance I am very happy because it's not easy to win 4-1 away in the Champions League."

Zilina coach Pavel Hapal accepted that the gulf in class was too wide.

"Chelsea showed their strength and we did not match this. There were good combinations, we had chances, but the disparity was there," he said.

"It was about players' speed, combination, strength this was the reason (we lost). I think we had chances and it is a pity we did not add another goal.

"It is a good lesson for us, we can see where soccer is heading but on the other hand I'm not satisfied."
