Brighton defender Adam El-Abd has won his first international call-up for Egypt.
The 27-year-old centre-half was born in Brighton but qualifies to play for Egypt through his father.
El-Abd has been named in an initial 30-man squad ahead of the World Cup qualifier against Mozambique next month.
The squad will be reduced to 23 after Egypt have played friendlies against Cameroon, Togo and Senegal.
El-Abd joined his hometown club at the age of 10 and has made 297 appearances, scoring six goals.
