Tuft storms to Eneco prologue victory

Garmin-Transitions' Svein Tuft produced a storming prologue to claim the opening prologue of the Eneco Tour and the first ProTour win of his career.
The Canadian clocked 6:18 minutes over the 5.2km to finish five seconds ahead of Dutch Rabobank rider Jos Van Emden.
Van Emden's compatriot and team-mate was a further two seconds back to ensure it was a fine day for Rabobank in front of a home crowd in Steenwijk, Netherlands.
"I had a feeling I could do a ride today," said Tuft, who finished second in the Tour of Denmark earlier this month.
"I was going to take risks and give it everything but I didn't expect to win by that much. I'm really happy because this is my first ProTour win.
"There were a few corners you had to be careful with but there were a few long sections you could pick up the speed on too. "
Defending champion Edvald Boasson Hagen (Team Sky) finished fifth. Wednesday's stage one will see the peloton cover the 178km from Steenwijk to Rhenen.
