France's Martin Fourcade swept to his second consecutive biathlon World Cup gold in the 10km sprint in Oslo.
The 21-year old has not looked back since striking 15km mass start silver on his Winter Olympic debut in Vancouver last month and picked up his first World Cup medal of the season with bronze in the first event after the Games.
And Fourcade has not left the top of the podium since, ending his 28-race wait for a World Cup win in Kontiolahti last weekend before proving it was no fluke by shooting clean to win again in the Norwegian capital.
The Frenchman eventually finished in 26 minutes 8.1 seconds in the first men's biathlon race for two years on the renovated Holmenkollen track.
Russia's former sprint world champion Maxim Tchoudov captured his first World Cup medal of the season, 7.1s back in silver, while Olympic 12.5km pursuit silver medallist Christoph Sumann finished another 2.3s back in bronze.
Sumann's medal shot him into the lead in the race for the overall World Cup crystal globe as he moved on to 677 with Norway's Emil Hegle Svendsen slipping back to second on 676.
Russia's Evgeny Ustyugov remains in the hunt on 637 in third but did his cause no favours in Oslo as he lost ground on the top two with an eighth-place finish.
Lee-Steve Jackson was the top British finisher in 98th after two flawless trips to the shooting range while Marcel Laponder finished 107th, Kevin Kane 110th and Pete Beyer 111th.
