SPL - Rangers v St Johnstone: LIVE
Celtic won 2-0 at Inverness but Rangers will regain their 12-lead at the SPL summit if they beat St Johnstone at Ibrox.
Rangers manager Ally McCoist has a number of players unavailable for their Premier League game against St Johnstone.
Better news for the Rangers boss is the return of Jamie Ness, who is set to be added to the squad after recovering from a groin problem but is unlikely to start.
St Johnstone manager Steve Lomas has a full squad to choose from for his first match in charge.
Striker Sam Parkin is available for the clash with Rangers after recovering from a broken ankle, although he is still looking for match fitness.
Jamie Adams (hamstring) is also fit for the Ibrox encounter
Ally McCoist (Rangers) (on trialist winger Sone Aluko): "He can play on either side. He has definitely got talent. There is no doubt about that. We're hopeful we can get him in next week, and have a chat. And after that, see where it goes."
Steve Lomas (St Johnstone): ''I keep hearing Rangers have been average at times but, I'll tell you what, if that record is average I would take it any time,'' said Lomas. ''They have very good players and we know we will have to be at our maximum to compete and put in a good performance."
