Marit Bjoergen has claimed the women's World Cup†2x5km pursuit in Sweden to secure a second place finish in the overall World Cup distance standings.
The triple Olympic champion crossed the line first in a time of 31:58.4 minutes after finishing second in Friday's 2.5km prologue to take her seventh win of the season.
The Norwegian, who will turn 30 on Sunday, was joined on the podium by teammate Kristin Stoermer Steira as she finished in 32:00.0 minutes to take silver in Falun.
And a Norwegian 1-2-3 was completed when Therese Johaug stopped the clock at 32:32 minutes to claim bronze in a repeat of the podium positions in last Saturday's 30km in Oslo.
Bjoergen finished on a total of 636 points in the distance events while Stoermer Steira came third overall with 568 points.
Overall World Cup champion Justyna Kowalczyk had a disappointing race finishing down in 11th following her impressive win in the 2.5km prologue on Friday†but takes her distance tally to 929 points for the season.
