Can the England Under-21 forward help Swansea survive in their first season in the Premier League?

Sinclair may be just 22, but he has already had something of a nomadic career for one so young.

Since signing for Chelsea in 2005 he has been loaned out to seven different clubs.

The winger-cum-forward has already had a season at Wigan in 2009/10, in which his total of 18 Premier League appearances dwarfs the five he has made for Chelsea in three separate spells back at Stamford Bridge, but he returns to the top flight now after an immensely successful season as Swansea in which he scored 19 times in the Championship and bagged a hat-trick in their play-off final victory.

The Bath-born attacker possesses plenty of pace and a fair amount of skill, and his prolific season for the Swans has seen him develop a real eye for goal.

Like the rest of the England squad, Sinclair was unable to guide the U21s out of their group at the European Championships, although at times in Denmark he looked like developing a good understanding with full-back Ryan Bertrand when the similarly well-travelled Chelsea-owned youngster run past him on the overlap.

Swansea will have their work cut out trying to retain their Premier League status next season, but if Sinclair can continue make great strides under manager Brendan Rodger then they at least have a fighting chance.
